I’ve watched 650+ Joe Rogan episodes. While watching, I collected 11 life-changing lessons from geniuses like Elon Musk, Andrew Huberman, and Naval Ravikant. (I bet you’ll get chills while reading them) Here are the lessons (& how to apply): 🧵

1. Procrastination When boredom kicks in, tasks seem difficult to complete and excuses overwhelm us… Do something a little more difficult than the situation you’re in. • Cook a meal • Make your bed The dopamine you'll produce is meant to bounce you back on track:

2. Delete Social Media People upload selected content, to appear happy and beautiful. But deep inside, we all know that’s not how they feel. • Appearing happy. • Showing fake versions of themselves. • Trying to impress others. These will make you sad overtime.

3. "Me is a disease" The more self-obsessed you are, the less happy you're going to be. How to fix it? The happiest people are those who love something more than themselves. • God • Sports • Family So, do the same. Find something you love more than just yourself.

4. Why do we Quit? According to Andrew Huberman, for every move we make there’s some amount of adrenaline being produced. And every time that happens, a counter cell type called Glia hits back. When Glia levels hit a certain threshold, it leads to the urge of quitting… The solution? Dopamine works exactly like fuel in these situations.

5. Be Delusional • Have 100% faith in yourself. • Doubt anyone who says you can't. • Keep working hard every day. It's the 'fake it till you make it' strategy. This mindset will keep you moving forward until you achieve your goals. Adam Sandler did the same ↓

6. "Aim Low Enough" According to Jordan Peterson, you need to aim for goals that are achievable. The major problem: • People aim at long-term results (becoming a millionaire), instead of focusing on short-term goals (becoming smarter). This mindset causes procrastination.

7. Step Out of Your Comfort Zone This how David Goggins operates. • Push yourself to your limits. • Don’t waste time (it’s your most valuable asset). • Be grateful for what you’ve accomplished. When victory comes, it's hard to put yourself back in hell. But the real winners do it anyway. Why? Because they understand this: It’s the only way to keep improving their performance.

8. Never Compromise Feeling comfortable could turn into a non-fixable situation. But you can still fix it before it's too late: 1) Spot what you dislike 2) Realize if you can change it 3) If you can't (most of the times you won't), walk away Here's example...

10. Never Reaching Your Potential • Procrastinating • Falling short • Quitting before you’re done Do these if you want to poison your mind. But if you keep going, you’ll achieve greatness. Not reaching your full potential is a pity. You will surely regret it.

11. Discipline Yourself Times when you’ll feel exhausted or bored are inevitable. Be the one who: - Doesn't look for excuses. - Pushes himself the hardest. - Never misses a day. And the discipline you’ll build, is going to turn into momentum. Once you earn that momentum, you will constantly thrive.
