1st Rule of Business - never do business with beggars, aka Cow Belt. You know what soloprenuers locked in a room in Bangalore know, which nobody else does? NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH INDIANS. THEY SELL THEIR TIME, SERVICES OR PRODUCT TO ANYONE EXCEPT INDIANS! I and many others do business everyday, but we hangup the moment we hear a heavy Indian Voice. Ask any soloprenuer or freelancer sitting in Bangalore, they will tell you this truth on your face. And outside India, there are shit tons of money! Literally Shit tons - they just don't freaking care. Don't waste your time selling maggie or chai or sutta to beggars. Even remote tuition teachers to students in Middle East, make more money than your corporate trainees. Jiske paas khud paise nahi hai, wo tumhe kya dega? Bikhario ke saath kabhi dhandha nahi karna chahiye!

Lack of market survey

Not market survey. Unit economics.

Guide before starting a business 1. Demand survey. Check whether real demand exists for the product or service. 2. Seasonal demand analysis . Understand how demand changes over 12 months due to seasonality or external factors. 3. Item procurement cost. Calculate actual purchase cost including taxes and vendor margins. 4. Logistics cost . Include transportation, fuel, handling, and last-mile delivery expenses. 5. Inventory holding cost. Account for storage, expiry, damage, theft, and blocked working capital. 6. Rental cost. Consider rent, security deposit, escalation, and location premium. 7. Labour charges. Factor salaries, overtime, attrition, and training costs. 8. Utility expenses. Electricity, water, internet, POS systems, and maintenance. 9. Marketing cost. Cost of customer acquisition, promotions, and discounts. 10. Compliance and licenses. GST, local permits, renewals, and penalties. 11. Payment and finance cost. UPI or card charges, interest, and cash-flow gaps. 12. Competition impact. Pricing pressure, substitutes, and market entry barriers. Miss even one, and the business can go off track quickly.

So basically he jumped in without a plan - what do you expect?

I am in the restaurant business and have currently 21 operating stores in delhi. First thing is knowing your food cost. Next is your fixed operational cost (excluding rent), and then depending on rent how much sale would you need to get breakeven and then profits(revenue vs rent)

Salute to him to actually take action.

Kudos man. Sofe par baithkar gyan batna bahut aasan hain. But us par chalna bahut mushkil. Glad that you took the risk and experienced it first hand. You now have far more knowledge than average tom dick and harry commenting.

boiled eggs unit economics ko manage ke liye lagaya jata hai asli product bread ommlette aur egg rolls aur egg curry rice hoti hai , jucie ke liye pineapple sidha market se kharidna padta hai , aur insabko milake bhi sirf rent niklega kyuki ye sab thele pe bechne wali cheez hai

9 to 5 ki yahi dikkat hai dimaag band kr deta h vi tumhara, who the fuck goes and put a stall without a business plan…bc kissi already running thelle se gyaan le leta fir chalata 10 cheejein pata chalti

all those without business background in their families walk into these issues blindly but if you have even a little business background thats how you will be taught to pursue ideas Me and mom thought of starting a cloud kitchen, licensing is separate issue after calculating the expenses we discovered the effort may not be as much of a worth and likewise many more such ideas rejected just be discussing expenses to ROI

9 to 5 people even in very high salary think they r smart but even a small kirana wala will beat them in business. Business is ruthless not fr try once and close shop. Buy id u r 9 to 5 guy always start a business in which u can have expertise.

Basic of business : You make profit and You make loss, But the losses should be lower than the profits. Secondly: You only make money when you are selling in bulk.

Experiments like this are great life experiences. It was an investment in learning. Now he is a content creator and has experience in retail fnb. Now he can be hired as a growth mamager in chaauos just like that.

Shop wala most of the time loss hi karega. Real money tapri aur thela vale banate hai.

@grok explain the story crisp and clean cut the bullshit.

Low rent low sale. U need footfall

Business usually takes times to build specifically in food need trust and juice is simple extraction of sugar water no one who does gym want that you should try mung dal ke Chile in healthy way like something which Has protein with low cal

He targeted very lower market share. The bigger size of the volume matters.. compounding will start automatically.

Baaki sab theek hai but bro thinks juice wale asli juice bech rhe hai 😭

Gym wale to waise hin prefer to eat home food. Planning hin galat thi

It's difficult to run food business, Even if the location is good. It's quite tough to get a huge foot fall !! And unless it's a huge foot fall , profit won't be coming. Then there are operational issues, like staff leaving you ! Raw material unforeseen rates etc.

Lol selling maggi to gym goers 🤣

I know a basic principle. Keep going. Don’t expect soon. It takes time for market to notice. Until then you got to be patient. Not as simple as it seems. But yes, business flourish if you stay long enough with the right mindset

भाई पानी बताशे की दुकान खोल लेता, लड़कियां ही फूल माल सेल करवा देतीं।

For any business, you need to have plan for 3 , 5 and 10 year. Any business or investment need minimum 3 years to give yeild. So you survive 3 years if you have done good business study and have solid commitment.

Good!! You would do better in your next venture. Keep it up

Har office building ke aas paas ko chai cigarette bechte hain, wo asli hustle hai. Wo bhi ek bar karke bata do kyun nahi hogi. Anyway, good job!!

Business is definitely not his cup of tea.

Bhai bulk me saman kharido toh sasta padta hai. Aap MRP me saman kharid rahe ho toh profit kaha se aayega. 🤦

He's bad at business

Food business is the toughest Very few survive after 1st year

Lack of market survey, lack of unit economics, lack of business sense. Bhai gym wale logo ko maggi kon bechta hai? 😳

He is right , itna easy nhi hota

Bhai yah Banda fail Ho Gaya to log iski kamiyan Bata rahe hain iske research ko dosh de rahe hain yahi Banda agar abhi successful ho jata to usi ke upar story likhe jaati Dekho what an idea. Vaise gym ke bahar gym mein pahne wali accessories bhi bechi Ja sakti he.
