Here’s the math, assuming we live until 80: - If you sleep around 7 hours each night, you sleep for 24 years in your lifetime. - ⁠If you spend 6 hours on your phone, you spend 20 years on your phone in your lifetime. - ⁠If you spend another 6 hours at work or at school on laptops, computers, iPads, etc., that’s 20 more years of your life spent behind screens. - ⁠If you spend 4 hours on cooking, cleaning, and other random chores and tasks, that’s 13 years of your life. - ⁠This leaves only one hour for hobbies and passions, which is only 3 years of your life. It’s not that we don’t have time. It’s that we’re losing track of where it’s going. Every scroll feels harmless. But those minutes turn into months, and those months into years and decades. Even reclaiming one hour a day can give you back three extra years over a lifetime to spend in a meaningful way.
