It's true, only special occasions like birthdays, naming, weddings, graduations and funerals were photographers available unless the person wanted to visit photo studio to snap picture unlike today where photographers are not fully needed except special events.

Thanks to my mum I think I use to have some pictures from 1-10years before the fire incident in my house and my mums baby pictures are still available
