There's a lot of potential for a "slowly sci-fi" TV series. Start off as a police procedural, then slowly crank up the tech and weirdness over several seasons. "Homicide: Life on the Streets" slowly turning into "Stargate SG-1."

I just watched Lightspeed Rescue for the 1st time earlier this year. I ain’t gonna lie, I didn’t think much of this season especially cuz of the suit designs, but then I found out their enemies were literally demons and then the Titanium Ranger arc, this series was goated.
