The FED increased inflation today. They made everything more expensive. For what? To fight a fake boggie man. You can't hike your way out of a supply-driven inflation problem. Oil prices are elevated because of conflict overseas, not because borrowing costs are too cheap. A quarter-point move doesn’t reopen a pipeline. It doesn’t fix a war It just adds weight to an interest bill that’s already straining a $40 trillion debt load.

Well said. Meanwhile we continue to be taxed on what we make, taxed on what we buy and (hold on, wait for it…) taxed on what we own. I am not opposed to taxation but look at all the theft, misappropriation and fraud. Americans used to be cogs in the machine. Now we the grease 🫪😮‍💨🫩

That bump won’t do shit. The inflation isn’t because the economy is cooking, it’s not. We’re seeing crisis in every direction and it’s about to hit other sectors. It’s going to get a whole lot worse and the debt doom cycle is going to probably lock in all of the other problems.

I don’t know how many trillions they printed after 911war economy. Failed again in 08 at least the banks did , housing. I don’t think that was less than a few trillion. the plandemic was about 7 trillion. Me thinks this time will be along the lines of 10-12 T

Inflation is caused by the print of money. Rather than stopping the printing of money, Trump tried to bully the Fed into lowering interest rates, which only delays the inevitable. He has added $10T to the debt so far during his 6 years in the White House. Marsh is doing great.

High interest is not good for inflation unless you mean it will go up. Interest IS inflationary. The cost of business goes up and so do goods
