He did it! Dear little Hobo can walk! When he was just 3 weeks old this poor baby was bitten so hard and deeply by a dog that one tooth punctured his back almost through to his stomach. This bite crushed Hobo's thigh bone so completely that it was invisible to x-ray - his leg just appeared to end at his knee. But here he is, no longer dragging that leg behind him, but actually placing it! (it's his right, rear leg) I'm beside myself with happiness! Obviously his walk is still awkward and the leg is still mending, and has a long way to go yet. But just look at this little kid - he is able to walk, to poo without falling over (and me having to clean him up), and to eat for himself, whenever he is hungry. He improves day by day.
