@WendiLouWho00 God damn. He needs IV hydration and something to knock him out until it passes. What is WRONG with our hospitals? Are they run by psychopaths?

Another reason why pot shouldn't be legal. It causes psychosis, sometimes permanent. I hope he recovers.

This is Black culture And this is why I hate Niggas As much as I shit on single Black mothers, at least she cares about her son, and it seems her son is another good boy just trying to go to school and learn. This is most definitely in a school filled with Niggas that come from households where being high all day is glorified. Black children like this are the victims of Niggas, fucked up households, and their Bastard children.

Well you got him in a damn hospital. Get some snacks and a good movie maybe a big ass pizza and he’ll be fine. I find it hard to believe it’s 2000 mg. There’s no fucking way to know how much he had if it came from school. Btw I’ve taken 1000 no problem.

Here’s what 5000mg of gummies looks like. This story sounds dubious.

It's a miracle he's even alive. I'm praying that he gets better. 😢🙏 Absolutely sickening that someone would give a 9-year-old kid drugs, let alone 2000mg of it.

A 9 year old took 2000mg at school? Inside a building surrounded by adults. But the problem is laws and gummies are too strong?

Sit him down in front of the fridge with a frozen box of Ding Dongs, Ho Ho's or Oreo Cookies, some low fat milk, strawberry Nestl'e Quik.... he will be just fine.

There was something other than THC involved, here.

I feel terrible for the kiddo, but never in the recorded history of man has a person died from an overdose of THC. Many other drug in that dosage could have killed him, including pharmaceuticals, showing just how much safer THC is than what Big Pharma and their paid off stooges are pushing. Then you’ve got some putz like @DanPatrick scaring people that “THC will kill your children” (obviously not) while he’s collecting donations from the alcohol industry, whose product CAN kill a person. I mean…children have died from drinking mouthwash…but THC is the big bad boogeyman…

The school must answer. Schools have a legal duty to protect children. If negligence is found, consequences could include Legal action if gross negligence is proven.

Jesus Christ. They need to turn the lights down, shut the monitor sounds off, and shut that woman up. NO SENSORY INPUT!! He needs a low sensory environment until that crap wears off. Until then, any input is just going to hurt him more.

There's a good chance he may never touch weed or anything related ever again. I'm not against weed, but often times over exposure to something can turn you off of it for life.

I honestly can’t even imagine. I’m not someone who does this shit, but I had a 10mg gummy once and it fucked me up hardcore. Brain fog, 5 second memory, spacey, starving, felt like I lost 40 IQ points in the moment. Some of you potheads will laugh, but 10mg is a lot for someone who never does it. That poor kid.

This is a 9-year-old who got 2000mg THC edibles at school from another kid. He thought it was candy. Now he's in the hospital hallucinating and doesn't recognize his own mom. Scary situation for any parent.

It sucks but it’s a temporary situation that will pass and the worst effects will be a healthy fear of drugs in the future

you guys realize he's 9 and doesn't understand what's happening. Give him a pizza? Anyone whose ever had a panic attack from edibles knows it's not fun, now imagine that at 9 on an enormous dose

Meet Charles Mutiso, a Grade 3 pupil at Njiru Primary School. Charles is a child who should be sitting in a classroom, holding a pencil, learning how to write his future. Instead, he is walking from market to market, alone. Charles is suffering from a severe skin disease that has painfully deformed parts of his body. Out of fear that the condition might be contagious, teachers sent him home. Since then, no one has followed up. No doctor. No treatment. No return to school. Just silence. His parents are divorced. His mother, Veronica Akinyi, struggles on her own. His father is absent. With no stable care, Charles now spends his days roaming the streets sometimes playing, sometimes collecting plastics. Imagine a child in pain slowly getting used to that pain. Imagine a child who still wants to be in school, but poverty and neglect have locked him out. This is not just a sad story. This is a child slowly disappearing in plain sight. Charles needs urgent help: • Medical treatment at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital • A school uniform • Shoes • A school bag and books • Support so he can return to school on Monday This is more than charity. This is a rescue mission for a child’s future. If we act now, Charles can receive treatment and walk back into school with dignity. If we ignore this moment, another bright child will quietly be lost to the streets. Let us not allow that. If you can help in any way please come through. Support Charles Mutiso: Paybill: 303030 Account: 2052935582 If you are able to assist with medical care, school supplies, or direct support, please reach out. Let us show this child that the world has not abandoned him. Let us bring Charles back to school. Let us bring Charles back to life.

MNAKUMBUKA KABUDA? Last week, I met this young man who had recently turned 13. Some of you may remember him from a video that went viral a while back, where he and other boys were seen blocking the road and asking motorists for money. When his friends ran away, Kabuda was arrested and later released. When I spoke to him, he told me that they were not trying to harass anyone. According to him, they were simply pleading with good Samaritans for food and a little money to take home. I bought him some shopping, but I also wanted to understand his situation better. I told him I would like to meet his mother so I could find out why he was not in school. When I met his mother, I learned that he had dropped out of school after being sent home over school fees. Their father had passed away, leaving their mother struggling to provide for a family of eight. The mother is currently jobless, and because the family has very little, Kabuda had started going out to look for something to bring home. A 13-year-old should be in school learning, playing with other children and dreaming about his future not worrying about where the next meal will come from. I felt for this family, and I promised Kabuda that I would do whatever I could to help him get back to school. Today, I kept my word. I took Kabuda to Dagoretti Muslim Comprehensive Primary School. He will now be back in school, and I will continue supporting him as he moves forward with his education. This is more than just taking a child back to school. It is about giving him another chance. But there is still a bigger challenge at home. His mother is jobless and has eight children to take care of. If you know of any genuine job opportunity for Kabuda's mother, please reach out to me or directly to her through her phone number 0742208620 Any opportunity that can help her earn a decent living and support her children would go a long way. Sometimes, all a child needs is someone to believe in them and give them a chance.
