@BasilZempilas Who is swimming in the Swan while lying on an artificial beach when you have an actual coastline and the ocean. Why do we always quote Darling Harbour as the mecca of all developments?

Private buy-in? So land currently treasured by the public gets auctioned off to private hands at its current value + speculation, then the taxpayer pays to increase that value and realise that speculation, based on how much the developer bribes the government. Just like E-Quay.
