A 130-year-old panoramic camera. It still works.

Built to last centuries, not just until the next firmware update.

Eastman Kodak… enough said. 🔥

Film is goated. Absolutely incredible art format. I hope it never truly dies. Digital is surely amazing. But there’s a beauty and mystique that persists with film.

@LooyKurt @daiddosnadad @Akitti @BlueWizard777 @heywildrich WOOSH!

They still sell film for that???

History teaches us so many lessons 🙏

Is the output "art" or "camera slop"?

How did anyone even come up with the idea of a camera

Retro

@Pathvetra Very cool

This is really cool but where do you find film for 130 year old camera?

Far better than iphone

That Musik is way too Epic for such a small step for " humanity"....

Beautiful.

Now if only this wasn't recorded as a vertical video...

Awesome! I need to hit up a pawn shop now... 😎🔥

Panoramic camera...uses vertical video to record. 🤦

I feel like that camera stole the souls of everyone in that picture. 😳😳😳 Like, two priests gave their lives to seal that demon camera in the tomb, and here you unearthed it to take it to peewee’s football game 😳 Some things are meant to stay buried. 😳😳😳

@StadinMacGyver

Actually incredible

this is so cool

I like the Snapchat camera better

Unbelievable!!! Who invented it?

🤯

I get that the camera still works. But where did he get the film?

My great aunt had a 3D camera from the 50's. It had 2 lenses in the front of the camera that were spaced apart about the same as your eyes. It used special film and required a special viewer to get the 3D depth. Really cool.

Epic

Ilford film. Fond memories.

Where do you get film for something like this?

amazing

Beautiful pictures! So very nostalgic!
