@ahandvanish To be fair #MECFS patients and #MECFS biomedical researchers understood exactly what was happening - had warned NIH and general public it would happen - and tried to prevent it from happening with what few tools we had.

@ahandvanish I can relate. Ran into a college friend & his brother (who was sporting a beard) & I said, "I didn't recognize your son." He looked at me weird & it didn't register w/ me until later. Only thing is I think we need a better term than "fog" w/ something that feels permanent

@ahandvanish Are reinfections associated with higher risk of long COVID simply because you have had COVID more times or are you more likely to get long COVID the second time you get COVID? Same question for severity.
