This young lady bought a cheap car on Facebook marketplace despite people warning her about it. He told her the car would pass inspection, but also wanted her he was selling it as is. So when she got a check engine light literally a mile down the road and a few days later it wouldn’t start. So she calls the guy and tried to get him to replace the battery and the check engine light. He claims that he would look at it for $150. So the guy just sold her a car riddled with problems as is but claims it would pass inspection, and the buyer seems to have an issue understanding what an as is sale it. But shouldn’t he still fix it for her as he claimed it would pass inspection?

This whole situation is suspect. If you had a $100k + Mercedes, you would take it in for service at Mercedes right? I mean, don’t buy an expensive car if you can’t afford the maintenance. Now after Jiffy Lube pulled his car in, they claimed that it had a check engine light on. The owner denies it saying he took a picture of the dash and there was no check engine light. The fact he took a picture of the dash tells me there is a possibility he knew about it and cleared the code before he pulled in. So is Jiffy Lube scamming him or is he scamming them?

When it was time to pay up, the worker just offered him a plate of food instead of the $100 that they originally agreed upon. So he hops into her car, she even still has her son in it and he decides to back it into the spot for her so it’s easier for her to leave. As soon as he opened the door, there was a custom made bar built out from the closet. Adjacent to that is a door leading to a very angular room. From rooms that aren’t square or rectangular to a room that even had a stage built in, one can only speculate what this house was for, can you guess what the owners used this for?

This guy went to Goodwill and found a clock, so he bought it... I bet he opened it up and saw the contents before buying, so of course it was worth the $6. As he was heading to his car, a couple was persistently trying to purchase it from him for $100. They more than likely were the original owners, trying to get there few hundred bucks back. Would you have done the same thing as this guy? Or made a deal with the other folks?

Now that the X4M Competition is sold, I can finally talk about some of the inspections. One guy came to inspect it and couldn't figure out how to put it in gear. The car intimidated him so much that he literally rolled it instead of driving it. Another came in a Camry and told me he wanted to switch to BMW, not a regular BMW, not an M340i, Straight to an X4M Competition. What surprised me most was how many people wanted the car without really understanding what it was. The guy who eventually bought it knew exactly what he was looking at within minutes. Selling an M car taught me that a lot of people want the badge, very few want the machine.
