Yasiin Bey fka Mos Def went on IG live earlier to clear up his recent comments on Drake: “that was not an opportunity to slander him or clown on him…the young man is very talented….I do feel that some of criticism that he’s received has been mean-spirited and unfair…” BUT THE second part of his message is what I want to share, “I wish that there was this much energy about human rights and real justice and resolving real life or death conflicts, where blood is happening. Some of that blood is the blood of innocents and children.” “…where we put our focus matters. So, I encourage you all to not be distracted by the arcade lights of faux conflicts… and to direct your focus to what really matters.” Whenever there is conflict or drama, I know we are quick to start talking about it and having conversations, which I don’t think is wrong. But, Yasiin Bey is very right about the energy we should be putting in to learning and speaking the truth about what’s happening around us and around the world. These things don’t need to be mutually exclusive, but if we collectively put more effort into talking about the tragic violence around the world, at the very least some good comes from it. 💢 Oh, friends! This is glorious!! To hear these words spoken so lovingly by Iran's Shah Reza Pahlavi, following this much needed regime change, makes my heart swell with joy. Absolutely beautiful message. He looks wonderful and his countrymen love and honor him. FT #Spurs 2 - 0 #Doncaster It was mainly a comfortable 1st half Marty’s Tel with a shocking miss early doors and it just never got any better embarrassing misses and losing possession with sloppy passes it was such a poor performance. A beautiful finish with an over head kick by Palhinha playing at CB gave us the lead. A quick second with Danso getting involved as McGrath scored an OG. Ajayi was their best player he created a couple of chances for them in the first half. It needed a top save by Kinsky to stop them clawing a goal back. Gray has done well in the middle as has Simons but Johnson needs to work much harder done nothing but score in the 94th min 🤣 The 2nd half performance really hasn’t been a great one at all but it’s about getting the win and going into the next round. What a great sight seeing Williams Barnett make his debut at 16. For me Palhinha is my MoM #COYS 🤍💙 #CarabaoCup #COYS 🤍💙

RIP Bradley Cooper 💔💔💔💔 Today, we said our goodbyes to a truly sweet gentleman, an old soul with so much love to give. Bradley came to us diagnosed with cancer, along with his best friend Bobby, the St. Bernard. While Bobby was young and found his forever home, poor Bradley needed palliative care. Thanks to his angel, MLHR Laura, Bradley spent his final days surrounded by love. Sadly, his illness progressed quickly. This morning, weak and in pain, he was given pain relief by the vet and was able to spend his last moments at his favorite place, the beach. Sand on his paws, sun on his face, and surrounded by kindness 💔💔 Bradley experienced joy and so much love ❤️ Bradley never received the care he deserved before coming to us. His previous owner neglected him, letting him and Bobby suffer, something that makes our hearts ache and our anger rise 😡 If only he had cared for Bradley as he should have, perhaps Bradley would still be with us today. But today was about Bradley. Today was about love. Today was about making his last day beautiful, full of comfort, happiness, and dignity. Mr. Bradley Cooper, you were never just a dog, you were a cuddle monster, a legend, and a beloved member of the MLHR family ❤️ We will love you forever. We are so sorry this world let you down, but we are so grateful for the time we had with you, and for the joy and love you brought into our lives. Rest in peace, sweet Bradley Cooper. Secunderabad Club beat Deccan Club in the inter club T20 tournament after 7 losses to them over the last 8 years on Sunday (Ugadi ). It was a very very close match where sec club scored 196 in 20 overs and Deccan club reached 190 in 19.5 overs . They needed a 6 off the last ball to tie the match and could only get a 4 ! And we won the match by 2 runs & it raised our BPs to record levels . What was cherishable for me was to bat along with my cricketer son and #Hyderabad Ranji Captain Milind , whom I had cajoled to play for Sec Club this year and later open the bowling with him too. My bowling got thrashed a little bit but no issues .Milind too agred that in so many international or national matches , he never faced so much pressure !! 😂Deccan is packed with ex state players and is a great team.

In Shivalik Park, people were allegedly uprooting plants, damaging pots and treating public property like it has no value. When one person raised his voice against it, suddenly all the jokers started defending the destruction: “Everyone does it… what crime did we commit?” So if a few cockroaches jump into a drain, will everyone follow them into the same drain too? This is the real problem lack of civic sense and accountability. Later the same Gen-Z reel makers will record videos saying: “Government took so much money but there are no plants or greenery here.” But they will never admit that many people themselves uproot those plants, steal flowers, damage public property or take them home as “gifts.” Until mentality changes, no government alone can fully develop India. Development is not only about roads and parks… it is also about public behavior, discipline and responsibility.

Western China-watchers love calling China the climate villain while writing their complaints from devices that had their carbon footprint offshored to China. China is the factory of the world, it manufactures much of what the planet uses. Yet its per capita CO₂ emissions are still far lower than America’s (~9.1 t vs ~13.6 t per person). That’s an astonishing feat by itself. Even more impressive: China’s emissions have now been flat or falling for 21 straight months (since March 2024), with a slight decline in full-year 2025 — all while its economy and exports kept growing. How? By leading the planet in clean-energy deployment at a scale no one else comes close to: record solar + wind builds, massive nuclear expansion, and fusion breakthroughs. The same countries that powered their own industrial revolutions with dirty coal, and offshored their own pollution, now lecture China for cleaning up faster than they ever did. They wouldn’t have cared if China polluted even more than they do today, as long as it stayed in its place as a simple order-taker: quietly making whatever the West demanded and slapping Western brands on it. But the moment China started innovating on its own and building its own world-class brands in EVs, solar, batteries, high-speed rail, phones and more, that’s when the narrative flipped. Suddenly they couldn’t accept what China had become. It was never really about the climate. It was always about China out-competing and out-innovating them. 🚨 / 🇫🇷 FRANCE ON FIRE After Boy Shot at Traffic Stop You’ve probably seen all the videos of buildings and cars on fire, the explosions and reported shootings in Europe’s 3rd largest economy. Some have even compared the footage to a war zone. While this is very dramatic, to say the least, it still shows the extent of the unrest in the country. But why? WHY? An officer shot and killed a 17-year-old North African boy at a traffic stop. A prosecutor has determined the need for an investigation for voluntary homicide. It was the third killing this year during a police traffic stop, after a record 13 deaths last year. Most of the victims have been black or Arab. A study by an independent French human rights watchdog found that Blacks and Arabs in France were 20x more likely to be stopped by Police. Amnesty International has been critical of French Police’s ethnic profiling and discrimination records. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? Protests kicked off 3 days ago and continue to get worse. 40,000 law enforcement personnel were deployed in response to the unrest with hundreds of arrests and counting. Fears are mounting of a repeat of the 2005 riots, also sparked by the death of African boys during a Police chase, which saw mayhem in the country and thousands arrested. While most of France agree violent protests are never ok, some are using this as an opportunity to attack migrants and religious minorities, blaming them for the violence and claiming these riots are a result of lenient immigration laws. MY THOUGHTS: First, this hits close to home. I’ve spent a LOT of time in France and speak the language fluently. France is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but they have their flaws, and we’re seeing one of them unravel yet again. We all agree the boy should not have been shot by the officer. We also agree that violent protests are NOT the answer. BUT, the problem goes deeper than this. Studies have shown systemic racism within the French police, despite denial by President Macron and France's Foreign Ministry. So, if there IS systemic issues, aren’t protests one way to force needed change? Yes and no. Protests serve an important piece of our democracy, one that should be cherished. They pressure authorities and Government officials to act. Unfortunately though, there will ALWAYS be bad actors in any protest, and these bad actors sometimes turn a peaceful protest in to a riot. When that happens, when a protest is dominated by rioters, a line is crossed. Do you agree with my take? WHEN does a protest CROSS THE LINE?

Porsha Williams talks with Angie Martinez on her IRL Podcast about her mental health struggles and why she calls her daughter her lifesaver: “I've had these bouts with depression. I have tried to commit suicide like twice. That's why I really wanted a child. That's why I really wanted and needed Pilar and that's why I call her my lifesaver because I knew if I had her, she would be what I would live for, my actual lifesaver.” Porsha also talked about being sexually abused throughout her 20s: “When my depression showed up, I had zero hope. I would actually feel like the world is ending and then you have someone who's looking at you and telling you you're beautiful or you're this or you're that, then you are like putty in their hands. So I think that was the beginning of just like man pleasing at the time and then the abuse would happen and then that takes so much from you. The bad part about it is when I would be abused by someone, I stayed … After my wedding, my first marriage, I never got sexually abused again in my 30s, 40s, nothing.
