Yasiin Bey fka Mos Def went on IG live earlier to clear up his recent comments on Drake: “that was not an opportunity to slander him or clown on him…the young man is very talented….I do feel that some of criticism that he’s received has been mean-spirited and unfair…” BUT THE second part of his message is what I want to share, “I wish that there was this much energy about human rights and real justice and resolving real life or death conflicts, where blood is happening. Some of that blood is the blood of innocents and children.” “…where we put our focus matters. So, I encourage you all to not be distracted by the arcade lights of faux conflicts… and to direct your focus to what really matters.” Whenever there is conflict or drama, I know we are quick to start talking about it and having conversations, which I don’t think is wrong. But, Yasiin Bey is very right about the energy we should be putting in to learning and speaking the truth about what’s happening around us and around the world. These things don’t need to be mutually exclusive, but if we collectively put more effort into talking about the tragic violence around the world, at the very least some good comes from it. I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to share a side of his message you probably won’t see much of, but y’all should go watch the full video on his IG. “free Palestine, free Sudan, free Congo” - Yasiin Bey 🙏🏽

FT #Spurs 2 - 0 #Doncaster It was mainly a comfortable 1st half Marty’s Tel with a shocking miss early doors and it just never got any better embarrassing misses and losing possession with sloppy passes it was such a poor performance. A beautiful finish with an over head kick by Palhinha playing at CB gave us the lead. A quick second with Danso getting involved as McGrath scored an OG. Ajayi was their best player he created a couple of chances for them in the first half. It needed a top save by Kinsky to stop them clawing a goal back. Gray has done well in the middle as has Simons but Johnson needs to work much harder done nothing but score in the 94th min 🤣 The 2nd half performance really hasn’t been a great one at all but it’s about getting the win and going into the next round. What a great sight seeing Williams Barnett make his debut at 16. For me Palhinha is my MoM #COYS 🤍💙 #CarabaoCup #COYS 🤍💙

RIP Bradley Cooper 💔💔💔💔 Today, we said our goodbyes to a truly sweet gentleman, an old soul with so much love to give. Bradley came to us diagnosed with cancer, along with his best friend Bobby, the St. Bernard. While Bobby was young and found his forever home, poor Bradley needed palliative care. Thanks to his angel, MLHR Laura, Bradley spent his final days surrounded by love. Sadly, his illness progressed quickly. This morning, weak and in pain, he was given pain relief by the vet and was able to spend his last moments at his favorite place, the beach. Sand on his paws, sun on his face, and surrounded by kindness 💔💔 Bradley experienced joy and so much love ❤️ Bradley never received the care he deserved before coming to us. His previous owner neglected him, letting him and Bobby suffer, something that makes our hearts ache and our anger rise 😡 If only he had cared for Bradley as he should have, perhaps Bradley would still be with us today. But today was about Bradley. Today was about love. Today was about making his last day beautiful, full of comfort, happiness, and dignity. Mr. Bradley Cooper, you were never just a dog, you were a cuddle monster, a legend, and a beloved member of the MLHR family ❤️ We will love you forever. We are so sorry this world let you down, but we are so grateful for the time we had with you, and for the joy and love you brought into our lives. Rest in peace, sweet Bradley Cooper. You will never be forgotten. ❤️❤️❤️ Please if you can donate towards so many animals that need to feel the love our beautiful Bradley did 💔💔 ❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔💔

Secunderabad Club beat Deccan Club in the inter club T20 tournament after 7 losses to them over the last 8 years on Sunday (Ugadi ). It was a very very close match where sec club scored 196 in 20 overs and Deccan club reached 190 in 19.5 overs . They needed a 6 off the last ball to tie the match and could only get a 4 ! And we won the match by 2 runs & it raised our BPs to record levels . What was cherishable for me was to bat along with my cricketer son and #Hyderabad Ranji Captain Milind , whom I had cajoled to play for Sec Club this year and later open the bowling with him too. My bowling got thrashed a little bit but no issues .Milind too agred that in so many international or national matches , he never faced so much pressure !! 😂Deccan is packed with ex state players and is a great team.

🚨 Cockroaches of India 🚨 A beautiful park gets developed by the government… Trees planted, flowers maintained, public spaces cleaned… And then some people destroy it with their own hands. In Shivalik Park, people were allegedly uprooting plants, damaging pots and treating public property like it has no value. When one person raised his voice against it, suddenly all the jokers started defending the destruction: “Everyone does it… what crime did we commit?” So if a few cockroaches jump into a drain, will everyone follow them into the same drain too? This is the real problem lack of civic sense and accountability. Later the same Gen-Z reel makers will record videos saying: “Government took so much money but there are no plants or greenery here.” But they will never admit that many people themselves uproot those plants, steal flowers, damage public property or take them home as “gifts.” Until mentality changes, no government alone can fully develop India. Development is not only about roads and parks… it is also about public behavior, discipline and responsibility.

At a time when the world felt heavy and uncertain, when everyone was struggling to find hope, millions of people searching for a light found you. And from that moment on, you became the reason so many of us could smile again. Today marks the 5th anniversary of your formation as the debut lineup from I-LAND. The journey was never easy. We know how much pain, how many doubts, and how many tears you had to endure just to stand where you are today. You waited years to finally see ENGENEs in front of you, to hear our voices calling out your names, to feel our love surrounding you. And yet, even when it was difficult, you never let go. You kept walking, and in doing so, you carried us with you. We have walked, run, and lived every waking moment together. You are in our hearts and minds every single day, and with the way you love us, we know you carry us in yours too. When you hurt, we hurt. When you shine, we shine. And when you rise, we rise with you. Five beautiful years since the world allowed us to find one another. Five years of tears, laughter, struggles, and victories. And even after all of this time, it feels like our story is only just beginning. There is still so much to do, so much to dream of, so much to experience together. I-LAND may have been painful, something we wish we could take away from you, but if there is one thing we are thankful for, it is that it brought us to you. Without that chapter, we would not be here loving you the way we do today. Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki, it has been a long journey down Highway 1009, and we will keep revving our engines for you until forever. Wherever you go, we will go. Wherever you stand, we will stand. Because where you are is where our hearts will always belong. We will be your fuel, your strength, and your support. And you will always be the stars that guide us through the darkest nights. Thank you ENHYPEN for all your hard work, your sacrifices, your endless love. Thank you for making us feel that this connection is not just fan and artist, but a bond deeper than blood, a family chosen by fate. Five years ago, you were a dream we never knew we needed. Today, you are our entire world. Tomorrow, and for every day after, we will continue to walk this path with you. We cannot wait to spend more beautiful, shining, and unforgettable years with the seven of you. Keep shining brightly, our sevEN. No matter how many years pass, our love will never fade. It will only grow stronger, just as it always has. ALWAYS SHINING BRIGHT WITH ENHYPEN #7つの星が繋がった日 #TheDay_sevENstars_Connected #엔하이픈_7개_별들이_연결된 ENHYPEN ENHYPEN OFFICIAL

He knows what your favourite artists don’t tell you. I’ve been waiting 8 years to sit down with the person who has spent his life quietly helping some of the greatest artists in the world make some of their greatest work. That person is Rick Rubin. Rick co-founded Def Jam at 21 and has gone on to work with people like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Adele, Johnny Cash and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The reason I’ve wanted to speak to him for so long has much less to do with the names. Rick is a master of creativity and collaboration, and I wanted to understand how he sees things. How can someone sit in the room with that many extraordinary artists, across completely different generations and genres, and continue to be useful to them? What surprised me most about this conversation was how little Rick talks about success. He talks about paying attention. Listening to yourself. Being willing to make something other people might not understand. Protecting the part of you that was creative before the world started telling you what was good, bad, sensible or successful. We discussed things like: - Why Kanye’s fearlessness makes him such an interesting artist. - What he saw in Jay-Z’s process that he had never seen before. - Why Rick believes creativity is gradually being beaten out of us. - What does he notice that other people miss? - Why some of the best creative decisions make very little logical sense at the time. This was one of those conversations that went much deeper than I expected. Rick has spent decades thinking about creativity, taste, collaboration and what allows people to make their best work, and there’s a real depth to the way he understands all of it. Towards the end I asked Rick a very simple question: “What is your job?” His answer was, "Support people in making their beautiful things.” After waiting 8 years to have this conversation, that answer probably explains Rick better than any list of records, awards or famous names ever could. If you’ve ever wanted to understand how your favourite artists actually think and work, or how to protect more of your own creativity, I think you’ll take a lot from this conversation. Out now on all platforms ❤️👊🏾

Western China-watchers love calling China the climate villain while writing their complaints from devices that had their carbon footprint offshored to China. China is the factory of the world, it manufactures much of what the planet uses. Yet its per capita CO₂ emissions are still far lower than America’s (~9.1 t vs ~13.6 t per person). That’s an astonishing feat by itself. Even more impressive: China’s emissions have now been flat or falling for 21 straight months (since March 2024), with a slight decline in full-year 2025 — all while its economy and exports kept growing. How? By leading the planet in clean-energy deployment at a scale no one else comes close to: record solar + wind builds, massive nuclear expansion, and fusion breakthroughs. The same countries that powered their own industrial revolutions with dirty coal, and offshored their own pollution, now lecture China for cleaning up faster than they ever did. They wouldn’t have cared if China polluted even more than they do today, as long as it stayed in its place as a simple order-taker: quietly making whatever the West demanded and slapping Western brands on it. But the moment China started innovating on its own and building its own world-class brands in EVs, solar, batteries, high-speed rail, phones and more, that’s when the narrative flipped. Suddenly they couldn’t accept what China had become. It was never really about the climate. It was always about China out-competing and out-innovating them. And that’s something they absolutely cannot stand. Watch the full show with Carl Zha here:

🚨 / 🇫🇷 FRANCE ON FIRE After Boy Shot at Traffic Stop You’ve probably seen all the videos of buildings and cars on fire, the explosions and reported shootings in Europe’s 3rd largest economy. Some have even compared the footage to a war zone. While this is very dramatic, to say the least, it still shows the extent of the unrest in the country. But why? WHY? An officer shot and killed a 17-year-old North African boy at a traffic stop. A prosecutor has determined the need for an investigation for voluntary homicide. It was the third killing this year during a police traffic stop, after a record 13 deaths last year. Most of the victims have been black or Arab. A study by an independent French human rights watchdog found that Blacks and Arabs in France were 20x more likely to be stopped by Police. Amnesty International has been critical of French Police’s ethnic profiling and discrimination records. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? Protests kicked off 3 days ago and continue to get worse. 40,000 law enforcement personnel were deployed in response to the unrest with hundreds of arrests and counting. Fears are mounting of a repeat of the 2005 riots, also sparked by the death of African boys during a Police chase, which saw mayhem in the country and thousands arrested. While most of France agree violent protests are never ok, some are using this as an opportunity to attack migrants and religious minorities, blaming them for the violence and claiming these riots are a result of lenient immigration laws. MY THOUGHTS: First, this hits close to home. I’ve spent a LOT of time in France and speak the language fluently. France is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but they have their flaws, and we’re seeing one of them unravel yet again. We all agree the boy should not have been shot by the officer. We also agree that violent protests are NOT the answer. BUT, the problem goes deeper than this. Studies have shown systemic racism within the French police, despite denial by President Macron and France's Foreign Ministry. So, if there IS systemic issues, aren’t protests one way to force needed change? Yes and no. Protests serve an important piece of our democracy, one that should be cherished. They pressure authorities and Government officials to act. Unfortunately though, there will ALWAYS be bad actors in any protest, and these bad actors sometimes turn a peaceful protest in to a riot. When that happens, when a protest is dominated by rioters, a line is crossed. Do you agree with my take? WHEN does a protest CROSS THE LINE?
