Koffi Boussou Noel Nguessan writes 📝 Baoule = bah ouli means the baby died. Abla Pokou and her tribe from Ghana sacrificed a baby on the Comoe River so that they could have a way to cross because running🏃away from a war 🔥 in the Ashanti kingdom. after the sacrifice of the baby, they saw a bridge 🌉on the river and they crossed into Ivory Coast territory. We Akan from Cote ivoire and Ghana are the same people. when we have a problem in the baoule kingdom only the Ashanti kingdom can solve it for us. we always consult the Ashanti kingdom before any decisions in the baoule kingdom. Most of the royal chairs in the baoule kingdom were transferred straight from the Ashanti kingdom for the Baoule. We have Kouakou (Kwaku), Koffi (Kofi), Kouassi (Kwasi), Kouame (Kwame), and Yao (Yaw). And money is SIKA [MICODA -Me koda] MEANS I'm going to sleep etc..if our king passes on we have to inform the king of Ashanti before any funeral and the Akan tribe in Cote Ivoire is the biggest tribe of the Ivory Coast. the first and late President Konan Bedie and Houphouet Boigny are baoule people [akan] and we occupy the central part of Ivory Coast, cote ivoire is a very beautiful country. GHANA IS OUR SECOND COUNTRY. AND WE ARE PROUD OF THAT. The Baoule remembers ✌️ Thank you @wode_maya for the video 🙏

They mixed some days when Abena Poku ( Abla poku) who was the niece of Opoku ware and her people left the Ashanti’s kingdom to Ivory Coast. On their way she had to sacrifice a child giving to her by the gods. And that’s how they got the name. Baoulé meaning the child has died
