The Tobacco and Vapes Bill, which makes it illegal to sell tobacco to anyone born on or after 1 January 2009, has been granted Royal Assent today, meaning today’s children will never legally be sold cigarettes. According to this woman, the government forcing people on the EBT program to buy nutritious food is punishing children by preventing them from eating junk food. Let’s not forget that taxpayers are footing the bill not only for their food, but also for their healthcare as a result of their poor diet. If you want your kids to eat cake, stop being lazy and bake it yourself, like most of us do.

Usually parents teach children about the harmful effects of junk food. I want to create an India where the next generation of Indian kids teach their parents about the negative effects of junk food. I sometimes make trips to government schools to teach them about the basics of nutrition. My dream is that nutrition/health will be a subject of the school syllabus, just like English, Mathematics, history, geography etc.
