I'm seeing a lot of "well planet sizes". Sure. But for Angels venture to be destroyed and not frontieria, angels venture would have to be utterly gargantuan. Like incomprehensibly massive

Dude.... I have concerns that AH no longer cares, at all anymore.

I made this argument in the official discord as soon as the map was updated. there wasnt a single fucking way either of these planets should exist where they were currently placed. If Meridia could destroy angels venture, it should have destroyed fronteria and zygos

The best way ive heard it described is: The Galactic map is simplified to maintain our focus. The planets aren't that close to one another, the are spread out. Fronteria was just near Meridia. In its solar neighborhood if you will.

Fronteria and Zygos hiding from the Meridia colorized (Space is a 3d space so they might have been way super far above or completely under where meridia was)

This is proof that the writers behind the plot of the Second Galactic War really have lost the plot. One of the biggest plot points related to Merida is the fact that it simply passing by a system blows it up, it doesn’t need to touch it, it simply needs to be in the vicinity.

This is more of a headcanon explanation that I sorta came up with to avoid my own coniptions. What if the planets were always there, but the galactic map only showed us the planets in each system that have been claimed and are being added due to expansion efforts?

i HOPE termicide 2 fails so we get that eye sore away from where meridia used to be

They just DO NOT give a fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

They just want the galactic war to truly have zero impact, don't they?

AH lost the plot

That’s not the actual map of the galaxy, that’s a representation of the planets with their general locations. Fronteria is in a different place than Meridia, they just put it there cuz it’s nearby. At least that’s what I think anyways. After all the galaxy isn’t a big circle

Let's not beat around the bush this is just lazy. AH is following their cycle of stop caring for a game after a couple years and doing their best to alienate anyone who likes it, don't be surprised when is just left unplayable with bugs, Magicka players send their regards

The Milky Way Galaxy is not 2 dimensional. On average the thickness is about 1000 light years. Saying "it doesn't make sense" demonstrates a lack of knowledge about how fucking massive space is.

We love a lack of consistency in our totally player choice driven story!

It must be so tiring having to force yourself to find things to complain about that are so miniscule or not real just bc thats your online bit. The system blocks are large scale, they dont consist exclusively of the planets we are shown on the map. Its highlighting relevant ones.

The Orion sector for some reason with how many planets are inside of it now

I was at zygos last night my advice use ur tank mechs beam rover gattling gun get the objective handle all enemy spawns blow shit up and run to the extraction 😎💯

We should blow it up to fix this problem

Looking at the war map last night, and how the major order is set up I fear the memes were right, all roads lead to hellmire

The Gloom part tho, if you go to the helldivers companion website, you can see every planet back there

Off topic. It’s about the Turing invasion. Kinda wish we lost that. My thoughts were we had to find a planet suitable for a new location for the ministry of science to do there crap in or something… But, on topic.…. WHAT THE HELL?! >=O

Meridia is still on the map y know

Did i say it wasn't? You people are fucking APES. It replaced its original location

Aaaand?

@ThighNir It makes the war events seem pointless, is what I'm gathering

@ThighNir As I said meridia and the destroyed planets are very much still there

@ThighNir Show me.

@ThighNir Open the galactic map

I hope we have enough divers to take Cirrus after Zygos.

obvious continuity errors, my beloved

Talvez esse era um planeta que estava PRÓXIMO de merida e só foi colocado no mapa porque a superterra decidiu colonizar, quer dizer eu duvido que esses sejam os únicos planetas desse setor

My thoughts? Given the size of the map, there a probably hundreds of thousands of plants not on the map, with the relative distance between them being massive. Even if on the display map it was shown in the 'same' spot it could be Billions of miles from it.

I was always under the impression the “planets” we select are inside their own individual solar systems, which are intern lightyears apart from one another. Am I incorrect in this assumption?

Saw a theory about it being there to be meridia the sequel

Best answer I can think of is that the map is a top down view and that the new planets are "above" where the fallout from Meridia's path of destruction would reach. Or Arrowhead just doesn't care, take your pick

Somehow, Fronteria and Zygos appeared
