They then claimed to make payments fake payments to them for cleaning services after his stay, and wanted reimbursement But it was all fake. So he made a post warning others not to stay there, the host has a criminal record and what how they generate fake cleaning bills with AI and want reimbursements Airbnb took action against him, not the Host, saying he couldn’t post all this publicly available info and to delete the video or they will delete his account Stop using Airbnb He even provided Airbnb with proof the invoices were fake and AI-generated, photos disputing the damage claims and the host’s public criminal history and Airbnb still didn’t care

She shares how guests leave her property and how most Indians consider Airbnb as just a party place and leave unbelievable mess sometimes. “We are paying cleaning charges na”. True. I judge people on how they leave behind hotel rooms too. Why? Because a robot won’t clean up behind you. It will be a human being with dignity who should not be the one picking up your filth behind you. At least the part which you could dispose of responsibly. But, some people just don’t get it and laugh on you for keeping your hotel rooms & Airbnb tidy.

This Airbnb host came back after a two-day guest stay and discovered her property had been trashed from a party. Broken dishes, a dangerously low pool, a burnt/melted microwave hood, broken pool sticks, possibly missing game pieces, and even paraphernalia left behind. Airbnb does allow hosts to file damage claims through the Resolution Center and their AirCover for Hosts program. However, guests are still permitted to leave a review even after a damage claim is submitted. She says every single time she’s filed a claim, the guests retaliated with a bad review. It’s crazy that someone can damage your property and still punish you with a one-star rating. Do you think it’s fair for guests to still be able to rate and review a host after causing significant damage?

This couple was visiting out of state and decided to use an Airbnb. When they got there they were treated to a beautiful view as well as delicious treats placed throughout the house. There were chocolates on pillows, assortment pastries and sweets. All were appreciated and enjoyed. The couple thought the host was being very hospitable and gracious with the treats since there was no mention of them in the contract. Several weeks went by and they were sent a bill through Airbnb for over $700. Those free treats weren’t free and the hosts charged them for every crumb. Was this fair to do so since there wasn’t any kind of communication that said they would be charged for them. Would you dispute this or just pay for it since you did eat them?
