What the hell is wrong with these people? This is straight-up legalized murder in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey just signed a law that allows abortions up to the moment of birth. No limits. Just “whatever the doctor decides.” You’re not terminating a pregnancy at that point. You’re killing a fully formed baby that can feel pain and could survive outside the womb. I don’t care if you’re a liberal, a Democrat, or whatever label you wear. If you can look at this and not find it wrong, something is deeply broken.

As a nurse, a mother, and a Catholic, this completely breaks my heart and makes my blood boil. Our most sacred duty is to protect vulnerable life, yet the Democrats continue to prove they have absolutely no soul or conscience. I cannot comprehend how anyone can support stripping away protections for viable babies who are ready to be born. It is pure evil.

BREAKING: Democratic Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina has just vetoed a contentious bill that aimed to prohibit the majority of abortions after 12 weeks. With this said, it is likely that Republicans will attempt to override the veto. Cooper stated: "This bill has nothing to do with making women safer, and everything to do with banning their reproductive freedom." I stand with Cooper on this decision and feel that access to abortions should be between a woman and her doctor. Everyone's situation is different and their beliefs are as well. The government should not determine when or if a woman should be able to have a procedure. I am completely against using abortion as a form of birth control, but I am even more against government deciding what women can and can not do. Thoughts?

Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson commended one of her fans who joked about having an abortion shortly after her show. The fan said on TikTok, “i didn’t know i was pregnant here but at least my baby got to hear midnight sun before i aborted it.” Larsson reposted the video and commented, “I killed the performance and then you killed it after the performance purrrrrr.” Notice how both Larsson and her fan are completely aware of what happens during an abortion. The fan used the term “baby” to describe the child she willfully murdered. Larsson even affirmed that she “killed it.” In their brazen joking, these two women are plainly confessing truths that virtually all women who have abortions already know: that preborn babies are human persons made in the image of God and worthy of life, and that taking such innocent life is an act of murder. I have spent the past seven years doing regular sidewalk ministry outside of abortion facilities. I have therefore interacted with thousands of women who have abortions. These women are fully aware that they are murdering a child, and a non-insignificant share are very much willing to joke about and mock the baby they are about to murder. I also work full-time for a Christian political advocacy organization that writes legislation to establish equal protection of the laws for preborn babies. Our most significant opposition, especially in conservative states that should be able to abolish abortion, are pro-life establishment groups that insist women are “second victims” of abortion. Rather than framing women who have abortions as moral agents capable of understanding right and wrong, these pro-life groups frame them as clueless damsels in distress, and they even write laws ensuring no woman can ever be penalized for willfully murdering her own preborn baby. That is largely why abortion pills continue flowing into conservative states: law enforcement and prosecutors cannot hold women, who are the primary agents in self-managed abortions, legally accountable. The murder of preborn babies will continue in our nation as long as conservative Christians naively believe the “second victim” narrative about women who have abortions. Instead of granting women blanket immunity for abortion, we need to pass laws criminalizing abortion as murder for all parties involved, and allowing our justice system to determine which parties are innocent and which are guilty. Christians must work to make murdering anyone illegal for everyone. We must expect our pro-life lawmakers to support and pass equal protection of the laws for preborn babies, protecting them with the exact same laws against murder already protecting born people. We must accomplish these ends as swiftly as possible, for the glory of God and for the love of our preborn neighbors.

The legislation would bar Tennessee colleges and universities from restricting invited speakers based on their views, explicitly protecting “opposition to abortion, homosexuality, or transgender behaviour”. The bill is now headed to Gov. Bill Lee’s desk for signature. Once signed, the policies outlined in the bill will take effect immediately; the rest of the bill’s provisions will take effect on 1 July. Under the bill, common forms of protest such as walkouts, chanting, or holding signs that obstruct views could be deemed disruptive and punished with probation, suspension, or expulsion. Institutions will also be required to adopt the University of Chicago’s free expression policy, which prioritises open debate over shielding students from harmful or inflammatory rhetoric. This bill, with companion parts Senate Bill 1741 and House Bill 1476, is sponsored by Sen. Paul Rose and Rep. Gino Bulso in the Senate and House, respectively.

Today, a gunman opened fire on passing cars along Memorial Drive in Cambridge before he was shot by a responding Massachusetts State Police trooper. The gunman, 46-year-old Tyler Brown, was already on law enforcement’s radar. His photos were distributed after his parole officer reported to police that he had made suicidal statements. In 2021, Brown was sentenced to 5–6 years in state prison followed by probation on a murder charge. He was also ordered to undergo mental health evaluations and treatment.

The Charlie Kirk Vigil at Boston Common last night brought together so many patriots, united in prayer, strength, and determination for change. Thank you to every single person who showed up. You reminded us that we are not alone. One of the most inspiring parts of the night was hearing from the young speakers who talked about the impact Charlie had on their lives and why they feel called to get involved. Their words were powerful and showed that the next generation is ready to carry this mission forward. But this is just the beginning. Report on Recently Abducted Alawite Women in 2026 This report was prepared by Syria Justice Archive Syria Justice Archive following contact with a group of human rights activists, the families of the girls, and community sources. 1. Mariam Faez Sultan, Age 16 Abducted on January 9, 2026, in the Mezzeh area of Damascus (she lives in the Mezzeh 86 neighborhood, which has an Alawite majority, within the broader Mezzeh district). After contact with her family, her father confirmed she had been abducted. Strangely, he offered thanks and praise to the “General Security” after learning that the caller belonged to a team working with the UN Office of Investigations. Nevertheless, as of the writing of this report, March 8, 2026, the girl remains abducted. 2.Lana Al-Suleiman, Age 18 Abducted on March 1, 2026, in the Burj Al-Ghanum area in the city of Masyaf, Hama countryside. She was released two days later on March 3, 2026, and was compelled to appear in an interview stating she had not been abducted and had simply been at a friend’s house. It should be noted that our team and most documentation pages recently chose not to publish abduction cases, and that the girl appeared in posts on Facebook from her local area indicating she had been missing, yet none of the posts mentioned abduction. We were unable to contact her family. 3. Layal Ibrahim Abdullah, Age 25, Married Abducted on February 22, 2026, while traveling by public transport from the town of Slunfeh toward the city of Latakia to visit a doctor for a previously scheduled appointment. All hospitals were checked; she was not found. Layal was released on February 27, 2026. A documentation team contacted her family, who confirmed she had been held for four days, but refused to provide details, saying: “What matters is that she came back.” 4. Alma Elia Saleh, Age 14 Abducted at Karsana Square in the city of Latakia on March 4, 2026. After contact with her family, her mother was in a state of breakdown and confirmed that her daughter was missing, adding that they had filed a report with security forces. The girl was released one day later on March 5, 2026. Unofficial sources reported that the Coastal Police Station arrested the abductor and secured the girl’s release. 🔹Our sources confirmed that following a visit by the UN Investigation Team to Damascus, during which files on kidnapped Alawite women since 2025 were presented, the HTS-led General Security is now pressuring abductors to release the girls within days. This marks a shift from the previous pattern of denying abductions and shielding perpetrators. In several instances, units of the General Security or HTS factions were themselves involved in the abductions, as in the case of Abeer Suleiman from 2025 (cited as one example among others), who has not been released to this day. At the time of her abduction, General Security personnel in the city of #Safita contacted the abductors in Idlib to warn them that her family had filed a complaint — less than half an hour after her father and brother had done so. Over the past year and continuing to the present, dozens of Alawite women abducted since 2025 remain unreleased. The total number of abduction cases from 2025 exceeds 80 documented cases. One case from 2026 (Mariam Sultan) also remains unresolved. All cases are fully documented.

This marks a shift from the previous pattern of denying abductions and shielding perpetrators. In several instances, units of the General Security or HTS factions were themselves involved in the abductions, as in the case of Abeer Suleiman from 2025 (cited as one example among others), who has not been released to this day. At the time of her abduction, General Security personnel in the city of #Safita contacted the abductors in Idlib to warn them that her family had filed a complaint — less than half an hour after her father and brother had done so. Over the past year and continuing to the present, dozens of Alawite women abducted since 2025 remain unreleased. The total number of abduction cases from 2025 exceeds 80 documented cases. One case from 2026 (Mariam Sultan) also remains unresolved. All cases are fully documented.

Dear Republicans ( Senators and Congressional members), Other than a few outraged posts, I was wondering if you all were actually going to do something about the NOW 10 states and Washington D.C. that are allowing LATE TERM abortions (INFANTACIDE)?! You all better start addressing this for what it is, INFANTACIDE!! When a pregnant woman is murdered, the person doing that crime is charged with double homicide! How is this any different?! Oh right because it was signed by a Governor into law. Disgusting. Use this very dark moment in our history to win your primaries because I'm telling you there are many middle of the road Democrats that are NOT ok with late term abortion. This is NOT women's Healthcare, those are just words to try and convince the people this is some how a good thing, it most certainly is not!

Governor Healey signed the new $63.4 billion state budget yesterday. She stated, “Massachusetts needs a budget that makes life more affordable and that’s exactly what this delivers.” It adds some funding for housing vouchers, healthcare subsidies, schools, and a modest bump in local aid to cities and towns. In reality, our state budget keeps hitting record highs year after year. Way too much stays locked up in big state agencies, MassHealth bureaucracy, and central programs instead of flowing back directly to cities and towns. That leaves local governments still struggling with property taxes, roads, and services. The 4% increase might help a few targeted programs, but with overall spending this bloated and costs rising fast, most residents probably won’t feel much real relief.
