ALERT: Prolific DUI driver decapitates a woman when he was allegedly drunk driving a pontoon boat 80 MPH in a no-wake zone. Richard Stevenson, 45, was seen flying across the Fox River in Illinois in his 30-foot pontoon boat, expected to be traveling 80 MPH. Stevenson was seen by a security camera zooming down the river and, about an hour and a half later, seen flying by again in the other direction. Shortly after, the family that recorded his boat heard a massive crash. Stevenson entered a no-wake zone and flew into the back of a boat, causing his boat to jump on top of it, decapitating a woman and injuring her husband. 2 passengers on Stevenson's boat fled the scene but were later interviewed by police and said Stevenson, who blew a .20 BAC, had taken several Fireball shots that day. Stevenson, who has 3 prior DUI’s, faces three felony charges, including reckless homicide and aggravated driving under the influence.

"I was taking photos of the waves on my GoPro in the water when all of a sudden I saw a boat flooring it right at me towards the beach. I moved slightly south and began recording," he said to Fox News' Bill Melugin. "The boat then beached itself and 8 or so people ran off the boat. One of the coolest interactions I’ve seen. The police were in pursuit of a man who stole a jet ski. They approach a man with a boat to ask if he could transport them, the man offers his to lend them his boat. At the end of the day they got their suspect, and the man got his boat back and earned respect. Would you allow the police to use your expensive boat for an arrest also?

This man rents a boat from the local boat rental. Either the boat rental place didn’t lower the motor or they thought the driver could. Watch as he struggles to find it as people are yelling instructions at him. All of this happened right in front of the coast guard. Whose responsibility is it to lower the trim? This could be a dangerous issue. I believe the rental company is at fault.
