It threatens American sovereignty by reducing the ability of elected officials to independently set U.S. foreign and defense policy, while making Israeli interests a more permanent part of America’s military decision-making process. So often, Democrats are in the wilderness when it comes to articulating a foreign policy vision that matches our values of peace, justice, real safety, and shared prosperity.
