Fair take. However, my issue with Tucker was that, despite a contract year, the guy didn't have the courage to tell the team that he was hurting more than he was helping. He was awful in the second half, and that cost the team games. If fans want to boo a coward, so be it.

Like I said in the video, if he takes an IL stint with the hand fracture, it’s probably less toxic. The narrative surrounding him coming to the Cubs was ‘injury prone’ because of the injury in ‘24. He tried to play through it to prove he could play and he failed to change anyone’s opinion. I do think the Cubs deserve a decent amount of blame for not finding a resolution or at least be more transparent about the situation because they definitely knew about everything. No reason to believe they didn’t based on how it all started with him sliding into second base
