FDNY arrived to thick, heavy smoke pouring from the windows, where an elderly woman stood trapped, waiting for someone to rescue her. Firefighters rushed in, took a portable ladder, and pulled her out of the burning structure to safety as fire spread rapidly across multiple floors, filling the building with thick smoke. As New York’s Bravest battled the fire and searched for victims inside the burning structure, a steel wall suddenly collapsed on them, trapping two firefighters inside.
