That’s beautiful to hear as a Black man especially. We are not taught to show emotion and vulnerability and that’s the only way to love and be loved. 🙏🏽 Where do I find the full version?

Wow! This is a beautiful conversation with great and candid insight, revealing the greatest strength of all, gentleness. Wish this conversation was promoted as much as some of the bull manure to give greater balance and humanity to the Black man. 😎🤴🏾🖤💪🏾

Definitely. It’s great dialogue. My favorite was the short they did for Story of OJ. As a white dude who grew up in a predominately white area, the dialogue helps push understanding of the black experience.

KD on seeing Kobe score 81 points: "This is the greatest player I ever seen."🐐 "[Kobe] strived so hard to be Michael Jordan. When I go back and I look at his videos and I say to myself, ‘Damn he was better than Michael Jordan.’” - Scottie Pippen Phil Jackson : Kobe Is More Skilled Than Jordan. Greatest PLAYER Ever in the history of NBA!🔥🔥 Dwyane Wade: Jordan is the best for this game, but Kobe is the master. Chris Bosh: I knew Kobe, but I didn't know him. Played basketball against him. Kevin Durant: Kobe Bryant is the greatest of all time. His skill is second to none. Him and Michael Jordan are neck and neck as far as skill. Dirk Nowitzki: His skill level was unbelievable. There was not one shot he didn’t have in his repertoire. So, to me, in my 20 years, he was probably the best offensive or the best player I’ve seen/faced. Tony Allen: He pushed me past my limits, and I did the same to him. To me, that's what makes him the greatest. Steve Smith NBA: [Kobe] was the most fundamentally sound player that I've seen play. #GregAnthony: Kobe Bryant is the most complete basketball player the game has ever seen. Candace Owens shared 2018 texts between herself & Charlie Kirk, inferring that she helped Kirk to understand the difference between Jay-Z & Kanye Owens has stated that she "lost respect" for Jay-Z after he & Beyoncé publicly supported Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, believing they "turned their back on Black Americans" Owens claims Jay-Z is a "system artist" who says what makes him "look good in the eyes of the public" & cares more about what Hollywood thinks than about challenging the status quo for his community Following the arrest of Sean "Diddy" Combs, Owens called on Jay-Z & Beyoncé to address their alleged ties to Combs & his parties Owens has claimed that the cultural weight of endorsements from Jay-Z & Beyoncé is "annoying" & no longer matters as much as it did ten years ago Her commentary on Jay-Z often involves comparisons with Kanye West, whom she believes is a "truth seeker" who isn't afraid to lose popularity She frames this in contrast to Jay-Z, who she portrays as overly concerned with his public image In the attached 2022 Kanye West interview by Candace Owens, West made a crude remark about Beyoncé & Jay-Z's marriage Is this the difference between Jay-Z & Kanye that she helped Charlie Kirk to understand? In May 2019, Candace Owens announced her departure as communications director for Turning Point USA Eric Bolling, the former Fox News & Newsmax host, told Patrick Bet-David’s “PBD Podcast” that while Kirk & Owens were “tight” more than a decade ago through their work at Turning Point USA, they “had a break-up” because her “theories got just a little bit too down the rabbit holes” This makes sense, as Candace Owens & social media influencers like her are well aware of the power of negative bias. They understand that people tend to focus more on negative information than positive information Hence, Owens regularly taps into the negative bias pipeline on social media via the promotion of controversial topics, guests & conspiracies. She knows that negative bias is a powerful lure for clicks, followers & monetization Perhaps no one understands the 'Dark Side of Social Media Monetization' better than Candace Owens, as her milking of Charlie Kirks' death has ranked her high, on Spotify Since Kirk’s death, Owens has been criticized by some over what she has posted, which has been described as rumors & conspiracy theories Bolling went on to say, “It was too extreme for [TPUSA’s] taste,” Bolling said, adding: “Charlie, to his credit, kept a cordial friendship with her for years, but it hasn’t been a communication pipeline between the two for many years” Is this why Candace Owens wasn't invited to speak at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service? Andrew Kolvet, TPUSAs spokesperson & the executive producer of "The Charlie Kirk Show", & a long-time friend of Charlies, was invited to speak at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service as were countless others who were close to Charlie, including Tucker Carlson Owens' release of Kirks' personal text messages from a group chat after his passing wasn't received well by Andrew Kolvet. He felt that Owens releasing Charlie's text messages betrayed his trust Andrew Kolvet & Blake Neff responded via "The Charlie Kirk Show" (attached) after Owens released a screenshot of messages shared by Kirk in a group chat, where he'd been discussing Jewish donors pulling funding over his links to Tucker Carlson Context matters more than ever in situations like this. Snippets & soundbites can distort meaning, & jumping to conclusions based on fragments only fuels confusion Given Owens' history of antisemitism is her focus on Jewish donors, an opportunity to attack the Jews as she does in the attached video? Kolvet said Kirk's feelings about Israel were "complicated & nuanced", & he wanted the war in Gaza to end Charlie loved Israel Charlie cared about Israel Charlie wanted to help the pro-Israel movement Sources: Candace Owens Newsweek Alex McFarland Speaker Series 21 Aug 2025

'State weighs proposed toll increases on I-405 and SR-167' But its more than just toll increases (to $18). On the table is also tolling 405 during weekends, and requiring 3 people most times for the use of the HOV Flex Pass. Lets take a walk back in time to see how we got here, shall we? * In 2015, the first HOT lane opened on 405 with a $10 Max Toll. The law was written that HOT lane traffic had to be moving at a minimum 45mph for 90% of the time AND revenue goals met. This had to be accomplished by the end of a 2yr trial. * In 2017 when the trial was up, the HOT lanes did NOT achieve the minimum 45mph required to keep operating. That is where then Attorney General Bob Ferguson stepped in. * AG Bob Ferguson told the state the AND was actually an OR, and the state could continue operating the 405 HOT lanes, even though it failed to achieve its goals set in the RCW * In 2024, the Max Toll on 405 was increased by 50% to $15. The state said 'that toll rate would rarely happen'. Data shows it happens on about 80% of the time on morning commutes. Back to 2026. Governor Ferguson appointed the members of the Washington State Transportation Commission. They are not elected. The WSTC is now looking at two options: A) Toll 405 during the weekends (currently free). Extend peak hours for toll requirement. Require 3+ HOV during peak hours B) Max Toll to $18 Extend peak hours for toll requirement Toll 405 during the weekends Require 3+ HOV during peak hours. (It's going to be option B guys, because why wouldn't they?) So to recap; an unelected board is seriously talking about raising the toll rate to 80% over what it was 11 years ago, on lanes that (still) fail to achieve rules set out by the legislature, that require a $15 flex pass to use HOV, which is also about to be raised to 3 people. But they pinkie promise tolls will rarely hit that $18 max toll... Paola Tristan Arruda | KIRO 7 Special thanks to Chris Sullivan at KIRONewsradio Article:

Steve Smith "[Bryant] could arguably be 1. Dr J.: "[Kobe's] as good as anyone who's ever played. Let's put it that way." George Gervin: "He set himself apart from everyone else." Kevin Durant: "How do you not say [Kobe and Jordan] are by far better than anybody who's played the game?" Isaiah Thomas: “I mean, he’s the greatest of all time in life and in basketball." Adeyemi Adediran (B/R 2010): "KOBE BRYANT IS THE GREATEST PLAYER TO EVER TOUCH A BASKETBALL." Jerry Rice: "Greatest of all time. You have to earn that title, and I think Kobe did that." Randy Moss: "Kobe Bryant is the best basketball player that I've ever seen dribble a basketball." Mark Jackson: "I never thought I would say it playing against Michael Jordan for so long but Kobe Bryant at the end of the day...will go down as the greatest basketball player that has ever lived." Mark Schlererh: "One time, one game, I'm taking Kobe Bryant." Paul Pierce: "If a game is on the line and I need one game, I want Kob." Steve Smith: "He's the best, most fundamentaly [sound] player I've ever played against or watched." Kendrick Perkins: "Most skilled to EVER play the game, it's not even a debate." Chauncey Billups: "I think Kobe is more skilled than any player that's ever played." Phil Jackson when asked if Kobe has better basketball skills than Michael Jordan: "He does." Vince Carter: "I mean, I still have to give it (GOAT) to Michael Jordan, with a close Kobe Bryant 2nd." Paul Westphal: "Who is to say Kobe Bryant isn’t going to be better than Michael Jordan? Let’s get that out on the table right now. He’s a lot better than Jordan was at the same age." Shaq: "If you want to have that conversation (GOAT), there has to be another name added to that - Kobe." Rip Hamilton: "Whoever voted Kobe [at 10] flat out disrespected him...when Magic comes out and says Kobe is the best Laker of all-time, that means better than him and better than the guy Magic played with, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar." Rudy Tomjanovich: "I truly believe [Kobe] has the chance to become the greatest player to ever play the game." Greg Anthony: "Kobe Bryant is the most complete basketball player the game has ever seen." Shaq: "You know what, I had the greatest player ever. We could've won six or seven championships, but you live and you learn." Allen Iverson: "I don't understand how they don't have the debate when it comes to Kobe." Mike Breen: "It's starting to happen again Mark, the conversation, the debate on is [Kobe] as good as Michael Jordan. It's been blasphemy to say it, really about anybody, but it's an actual discussion you can have now. Mark Jackson: "Well I said it a year and a half ago, no way in the world would I ever put anybody in the conversation with Michael Jordan but Kobe Bryant is there. He's as good as Michael Jordan on any given day. I said to Bryant yesterday,, 'it's almost like Larry Holmes and Muhammad Ali.' He looked at me and said, 'I'm not Larry Holmes.' And he is 100% right. It is two Muhammad Ali's when you talk about Jordan and Bryant." Grant Taylor (B/R 2011): "Players that come to mind are Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan. But I've now officially put Kobe Bryant on this list, and judging by the title of this article, it is clear I'm not just saying he belongs with these players. No. Kobe Bryant is the greatest and most legendary of all these players." Charles Barkley: "Kobe Bryant is the best player I’ve ever seen other than Michael Jordan." Matt Barnes: "To me, Jordan is 1 and Kobe is 1B." Phil Jackson on who he'd pick to start a team with between Kobe and Jordan: “I’d do a coin flip and whichever one came up heads or tails, I would take that person.”

🚨Jaden Smith's Revelations Add Fuel to Diddy's Controversy Fire😱 What really goes on with all of Hollywood? 3 weeks ago Jaden Smith, son of Hollywood icon Will Smith, has made public statements that have sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. Smith has alleged that his father, Will Smith, forced him to engage in homosexual activities at parties hosted by music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. These parties, which have been described as "freak off" 🧐events, have been the subject of much speculation and rumor for years. Smith's allegations come at a time when Diddy is already under intense scrutiny. The music producer is currently embroiled in legal disputes and has faced a barrage of criticism over his past relationships, particularly with Cassie and Kim Porter. The reevaluation of these relationships has raised questions about the nature of power dynamics within the music industry and the treatment of young artists. The revelation of Smith's experiences at these parties adds a new layer to the ongoing controversy surrounding Diddy. It suggests that the parties may have been more than just social gatherings, but rather environments where young artists were subjected to potentially exploitative situations. The video from 14 years ago, in which Diddy made grand promises to a young Justin Bieber, has also come under fresh scrutiny in light of Smith's allegations. It raises questions about the nature of Diddy's relationships with young stars and the implications of his promises. Smith's allegations have sparked a wider conversation about the treatment of young artists in the music industry and the power dynamics at play. As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how Diddy and others will respond to these serious allegations.

Michael Wear's Center for Christianity and Public Life invited Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) to speak at its inaugural summit. The thesis of his speech was that Americans should look for spiritual revival in churches and...labor unions. Yes, really. He even reads this into Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. "There are few things more critical, I believe this, to the spiritual rebound of America than unions. They kind of do it all. They deliver economic empowerment. They give us control back over our economic lives. They build community. They help protect the common good. And so we shouldn't be arguing for a level playing field between management and labor. We should be arguing for a tilted playing field toward unions. Workers make more money, they're safer, they're happier in a union. Neutrality isn't good enough. We should be supporting policies that incentivize people to join labor unions as a mechanism to deliver spiritual health to this country. So, churches and labor unions. Part of the same mission: restoring America's soul. And progressives just need to be bolder in the way that we talk about both and how we link the two institutions today. Shawn Fain, now everybody knows him, the president of the UAW, he does this better than anybody else. He speaks openly about his Christian faith and how faith guides him as a labor leader. He says that his favorite passage in the Bible is Ecclesiastes chapter 4, verses 9-12. 'Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other. But woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have help from another. Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?' Churches and unions. These are places where people often find the sources of contentment and happiness. The good stuff. The stuff that matters more. These are the kind of institutions that provide the building blocks of spiritual fulfillment."

About 5 years ago, Breitbart COO and the singer-songwriter behind the Trump anthem “Fighter,” Jon Kahn Music, was heading to Nashville for a writing trip to chase down some songs, as they say. The night before his first writing session, the publisher emailed him and said the other writer’s truck broke down in Texas and he wouldn’t be able to make the session. But then the publisher added, “Why don’t you write with Michael Farren?” Done. The next day, the two songwriters met for the first time, and they didn’t even pick up their guitars for a couple hours. They just talked -- about life, faith, the human condition -- and they wrote their first song together. Their musical relationship and friendship, in a lot of ways, parallels the song they contributed to Breitbart’s B 250 American Soundtrack. Farren comes from Texas. Kahn from L.A. Farren, the son of a preacher. Kahn, the son of a doctor. Farren’s musical roots are grounded in worship, and he’s won multiple Dove awards, and has been nominated for a Grammy for Lauren Daigle’s now-platinum single "Trust in You." He also wrote "Let it Rain," which appeared on Michael W. Smith’s RIAA certified double platinum album “Worship.” Kahn’s musical journey began in film. As a writer-director in Hollywood, his songs found their way in to many films, TV shows, and commercials. Coming from the '90s rock world, he has worked with members of The Wallflowers, Creed, and the Foo Fighters. Different backgrounds. Different musical roots. Different styles but when they get in a room to write, as the lyric states in The United Saints of America…. “somehow it works.” That’s what their song is about. It’s about the beauty and diversity of the people who make up this country — the ones who make it great, not despite our differences, but because of them. Farren and Kahn created something beautiful and something hopeful. In fact, they were so excited about the song, they went into the studio and recorded it together, featuring both their voices. That version of The United Saints of America will be out next week. Stay tuned...
