You kind of cherry picked the quote on this one. The quote doesn't answer the question you presented... even though he did answer that question and it wasn't controversial at all. He said that he felt like he got a lot of credit, more than he expected even, in Baltimore.

I coached w/ a man for 6yrs, from Mar to Nov 2 sometimes 3 teams/year. Truly love that guy, but I grew to realize I was being held back by his ego, and stubborness. I moved on and found a perfe fit where Im heard w/ an open mind and challenge to be better.

Fleming is in the Senate run-off in Louisiana against Julia B Letlow, Ph.D. "I think it's too early to make that distinction or to make that decision. I would want to speak with him first. I'd want to know why he's held up some of these things, why he has not pushed the Trump agenda as he should, and does he plan to do that. So I think to decide that or announce that at this point would be premature. But I do have some concerns, that's for sure."
