I sailed on a merchant marine ship about 1/2 of the size of this ship. We lost power going into a port in Mexico. Unbelievably scary and it took 4 tug boats to get us course corrected. Never under estimate the power of water on a vessel with no power. 😥

Have you seen all the conspiracy theories out there about the horrible bridge collapse? It absolutely blows my mind how they can come up with this stuff.

What an absolute tragedy. The loss of life is terrible and cannot be overlooked. This will cause horrible traffic for the region. Not only that, but this will also essentially close the port of Baltimore for the foreseeable future. The economic impact will be felt for years.

If it was a deliberate wouldn’t it have been more impactful to do it during rush hour when tons of cars are going across it? Not at like 2am or whenever this happened? And they definitely wouldn’t have called a mayday. Just a tragic accident
