At the start of that ceasefire, we will begin negotiations for a permanent end to the war, but this will be done according to our minimum conditions: 1. Hamas lays down their weapons. 2. Gaza is demilitarized. 3. Hamas has no more military or governance powers. If these can be achieved via negotiations, great. If it's not achieved via negotiations, we will achieve it by other means... with the force of our mighty army. The same thing was said regarding Iran: removing the nuclear threat—if it can be removed in 60 days of negotiation, great, but if it’s not achieved, it will be achieved by other means.
