This is so shocking that we had to go to the recordings of the Pakistan National Assembly - to confirm that this is not AI. The Pakistan Defence Minister #KhawajaAsif himself is saying that madrasa students will be used as a 'second line of defence' amid ongoing tensions with India. 🚨But what's a madrasa student got to do with fighting & defence?? 🚨Does this not make madrasas legitimate military targets?? 🚨Is the Minister admitting that Pakistani madrasas are training & indoctrination centres?? // First 'proof is on social media' now 'madrasa students as second line of defence' - please keep up this performance !!!

On the petition filed by Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, the Supreme Court has put a stay on the actions being taken against madrasas, Madrasa-e-Islamia is a fundamental part of secularism in the country. Every minority living here has the freedom to impart religious education. These madrasas of Muslims were established for the country's independence, especially after 1866 and 1857. Today, there are attempts to shut the doors of these madrasas... We went to court against this. We are pleased that the court has recognized our legal rights... #Madarsas

Earlier, a video of some kids raising 'Sar Tan se Juda' slogans was shared, and now this. Do you know that many of these madrasas receive funding from the government? प्रियंक कानूनगो Priyank Kanoongo Sir has been constantly calling this out, as studying in madrasas is not even good for Muslim students, let alone Hindus. Just because some Maulana became education minister and brought this policy, how long are we going to fund madrasa education?
