This case was in the NY legal system & has nothing to do with the federal government and it has nothing to do with Congress. Your very wrong interpretation has no business being expressed in Congress. Someday your child with you will see ghis speech & be embarrassed that you defended a criminal convicted of 34 charges of a crime that did not include the many that should have sent him to prison as such crimes did for the poor & middle class.
