A clear-cut precedent for the Mitchell Starc not out decision, with a Kyle Jamieson 'catch' not given out in a T20I against Bangladesh in 2021

The rule is wrong. Both Starc today and Jamieson in 2021 had the ball under control and took the catch. The ball touches the floor when they are breaking there fall/standing up but they have it in total control

World’s gone mad where everyone - ok, some Australians - think that using the ground to keep the ball in your hand is okay…

Correct decision. Starc had no business to ground the ball. He could have supported himself with his elbow. Clearly his action of completing the catch was erroneous & there should be no controversy over this decision. Many fielders get away "grassing" the ball.

Yeah Starcs was clearer and more obvious than this too

If you are in full control of the ball, don’t let it touch the ground

Can't understand how Jamieson is considered to be not in full control of the ball.

None of this matters if the law should be changed
