What’s the benefits of this design?

A bit of a question comes up here, where the hell are the control surfaces, how do you steer this thing?

I remember as a kid in science class making paper airplanes like this and they flew forever with barely a toss. Super efficient design. Kinda like how a golf ball goes further because of the dimples in the ball.
