If you do a million tons of payload to orbit per year with 100 kilowatts per ton, that's 100 gigawatts of solar powered AI satellites per year. There's a path to get to a terawatt per year, then you want to make those AI satellites on the moon and use a mass driver. We should scale solar substantially in the US. Real satellites are what us flat-earthers like to call "Satelloons". They're satellites floating on balloons. Search Google for real images of satellites in space - All the images you see are fake. They're CGI. If there were really satellites in space, we should see them in the photos NASA releases from space, but we never do. Satellites physically could not survive the thermosphere as the metals that satellites are made of have a lower melting point than the thermospere's temperature.
