A college without parking space, conducting 5- 6 programme's a year inviting VIP's & film stars at Pallavaram. Invitees parking cars in all streets surrounding the college and also on Pallavaram - Thoraipakkam Radial Road. Residents around the college are put to much hardship

& nuisance. On Complaints to Police, not even NO PARKING challans are issued. Police should issue notice to the college, instructing on not conduct such programme's causing hardship to the citizens. Why are Police mute spectators to this issue. @Chief_Secy_TN @COPTBM

Without having parking space at Vels college. It's causing a public nuisance for the residence for day in & day out. Even after several complaints why are the officials unable to take action across departments ?? Are the officials getting any benefits for not doing their duties?

Yesterday it was examination centre for CLAT and they also had convocation with Speaker om Birla as Chief Guest , parents and students vehicles were not allowed beyond radial road and literally all vehicles were parked on radial road

On working days also teachers & students vehicles are parked on roads surrounding the college, creating hardship & nuisance. @COPTBM

Every now and then a function is held for an out of market film star to give honorary doctorate. Think admin of college is making big money out of this. Hardship & nuisance caused to the residents of the area is of concern. @VelsVistas @preethaa_ganesh @tnpoliceoffl @COPTBM

Facing a similar issue, I had spoken to a security guard of the college, he behaved like a rowdy! money & power!!!

Hope you have seen the parking of New Kauvery Hospital. Everyone is using public space for their private use.

Kusumbu boss ungalukku. Vels vendhar is a movie producer, he also give out D.Litt like paayasam in a wedding hall, who would even question him? @chennaicorp Why cannot you collect parking for these cars because @ChennaiTraffic seems to be ok with the roadsides being parking spots

I think Parliament speaker came to the function with some actor! But still I think police could have some something like diverting the public if they feel some big shots are coming... Instead they chose to keep mum and it resulted in public getting narty experience
