This is EXACTLY why @SecDef & @potus are working so hard to stop the war mongering. My dad served in 2 wars, these soldiers are put in incredibly impossible situations every day, every hour, every minute they're boots down. In a perfect world none of them would ever have to experience that. But because the world is far from perfect it is our DUTY to stand beside them when they need us. Our soldiers are paid enough, cared for enough & most importantly respected enough. Hopefully that will change soon. We 🙏 pray.

The shot Tiger hit for me and my son. 2018 Open at Carnoustie. My son was 8. Not into golf yet — but the Open was in our back garden, and this might be his only chance to see Tiger live. So I brought him to the course and we went hunting. Found Tiger on the 8th. Swamped. Thousands deep. My boy couldn't see a thing. Local knowledge. We skipped ahead to the 11th and waited. Clear line of sight across to the 10th. Got there before the crowds. Tiger hit his tee shot on 10 into the bunker. 151 from the pin, a few feet from the face. And then he hit the greatest bunker shot I have ever seen live. Just us on the side of 11. Almost nobody else around. It felt like he hit it just for us. My boy is a caddie at Carnoustie now. And he tells everyone about the time his dad brought him to see the Tiger — and the Tiger put on a show for what felt like just the two of them. A boy touched this woman's daughter's butt at school . This happened to me and it ended quite differently. I sat in front of a black guy my senior year of high school, that would also touch my butt or pat it. I warned him 3 times . He kept doing it. I stood up ... and slapped him in the face as hard as I could. The other students were all like " WHOAA"... some of the kids across the room that didn't see what was going on said " WTF was THAT?" when they heard it. The teacher called me up to the front of the room and asked me why I slapped him . I told her. Surprisingly, he was suspended, but I wasn't. He ended up not coming back after his suspension. I should have did this from the start when my nephews friend would come over for playdates eating all of the food. This man was tired of the neighbor kids taking advantage of the fact he keeps a stocked mini fridge with delicious drinks and ice cold fruit and snacks. The man felt bad and didn’t want to cut them off but he was tired of restocking it daily, he came up with a clever compromise, he bought a lock for it. Weeks after I put my foot down and didn’t let the kid come hang out with my nephew anymore, the dad, I think his name was Otis, accused me of being a bad host and petty. He said that when people welcome each other into their home that they should do everything to make them feel comfortable. I replied I agree and we did but lines were crossed and his son took advantage, what silenced him on the spot was when I asked Otis why was my nephew never allowed into his home to experience his generous hospitality, it was always our home. I also reminded him how he still owed me gas money and how weird it was asking a stranger for gas money right after meeting somebody. That’s when he called me petty and that if I couldn’t spare $20 I shouldn’t have given it to him. From that point on I told my nephew that kid wasn’t allowed over and that he was using him. Was I out of line here? His dad sure thinks I was.

July 14th, 2023, my 11 years old sickel cell son had a surgery that got his spleen and gall bladder removed. I followed him into the theater, and we barely spent 3 minutes they said, he's going to sleep now, and I didn't know when they administered the anesthesia. He just said, "My mom, I want my mom, then closed his eyes.... eh, I was shocked, scared, and startled. I screamed, he's not talking again, they said he's asleep. He appears lifeless within 30 seconds. I sat on the floor, lost, broken, and shattered. They managed to remove me from the theater room. I sat right on the floor at the door and wept. Deep pain, I couldn't explain it. I got to the hospital room, weeping, and the procedure was going to take 6 to 8 hours. I cried the whole time, begging God to please keep him alive. All alone in that room, dejected, broken, alone, and helpless. I put on cityAlight worship songs and continue to cry my cry. They called after 6 hrs to tell me they're almost done. It doesn't feel like 2 hrs. When he came out, he was a completely different boy. Couldn't move his body, the same boy that walked into the hospital. 24hrs later, his bp started rising, and I kept telling them something isn't right. Later that day, i went home to quickly make food, Then, i got a vall that he suddenly developed a seizure and passed away. All the units ran down, doing everything within their power to resuscitate him. My sister called me to inform me, I was lost. I ran from upstairs downstairs to the front of my house weeping. Where will I go from here, I can't bury a child. Brethren drove me down to the hospital. On our way, they were praying, but I was just crying. I kept calling my sister but she didn't pick, then she called the people with me in the car that he's not responding o. While we were almost there, they said he's coming back slowly. He was transferred immediately to ICU, and the whole drama became serious. Now he's awake but in serious pain. On one of the days after Sunday service, we got there, and I met the staff doing an x-ray of his chest, so I went to the screen and I saw a skeleton skull right on his chest. I called one of my brothers who was there and asked him to come see. He said he couldn't see anything, so I saw the skeleton skull again. Then, I told them that the boy is healed. At that point, my brain was awakened. I asked for bowls, I put water, and washed him aggressively, moving his legs, hands, body, while he was screaming and crying.. his bp kept rising. The nurses ran in, and I told them not to worry, that he's fine. After washing, I sat him up, he kept crying, my mom please, I said you're healed my dear. After that, I told my sister who was with him that she should make sure he eats. I came home, and I slept and was calm. Why? Because at that point of revelation, I knew the battle was no longer mine. I rest! The next day, my son was able to sit for two 2 hours straight, and everyone was happy. I told them he's healed. On Tuesday, he sat in a wheelchair and was wheeled to the play room. I kept smiling. By Thursday, he's walking to the toilet by himself. That was how he got back, and he was discharged. I can't measure the amount of pain I had felt in life, but the moment God opened my eyes to see beyond the ordinary, I would just relax and let him work it out. Because it is no longer mine, the Lord reveals the battle he had conquered. Once your eyes are open to see them, they're no more. This is just one out of many wonders of God over my life and my children.

Madonna explains why she got mad & cried because of Al Pacino's method acting in "Dick Tracy" (1990): "Interviewer: Describe the relationship between the two characters, Breathless and Big Boy. Madonna: I had nothing but contempt for Big Boy. And he would treat me like a bad little girl. He was always slapping me and spanking me. And in terms of being on the set, whenever Al Pacino put his prosthetics on, his suit, he was a gross pig. And he’s not that way in real life—he’s very gracious, and well-mannered, and gentlemanly, and sweet... . As Big Boy, he would tell me the dirtiest jokes and suck on his cigar like it was some sort of weird phallic symbol, and just be a pig. He was always smacking my butt and my face. I hated him, I loathed him, I was disgusted with him. And so what happened off-camera was that I’d always try to be moving away from him, and he’d always grab me and go “Get over here!” which is exactly what happened in the movie. Every time I expressed my distaste for him, he would smack me, which is also what happened in the movie. I got mad. He made me cry sometimes.
