#sapsGP [WATCH] Three suspects were fatally shot following a shootout with the police and law enforcement agencies on the N3 road on 04 July 2025. A multi disciplinary team operationalised intelligence information about cash-in-transit suspects traveling in a Toyota fortuner SUV vehicle from KwaZulu-Natal to Gauteng. The team kept surveillance on the N3 road for the vehicle. Upon attempting to stop it, the vehicle sped off and a chase ensued which resulted in a shootout between the suspects and the police. Three suspects were shot dead and two unlicensed firearms were recovered in the suspects' vehicle. This incident was a continuation of an intelligence operation conducted in Msinga area on 03 July 2025 by law enforcement officers from Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal which resulted in two suspects being fatally wounded and two arrested. Potholes, BMC apathy take yet another life! Two days ago Arun Tiwari went to get petrol filled at around 10 pm. While returning home through the badly lit stretch near Mumbai University post office, he hit a pothole and lost his balance. Before he could steady himself, a BEST bus hit him from behind. Tiwari was taken to VN Desai hospital. He had already lost a lot of blood already. His family requested that he be given an oxygen cylinder and also asked for an ambulance to take him to Lilavati for further treatment. VN Desai hospital, a BMC hospital, didn't have an oxygen cylinder to spare. The family had to wait for an ambulance for more than half an hour. When he was eventually taken to Lilavati, they could not save him as he had lost most of the blood in his body. The entire stretch of road near Mumbai University from Vakola upto Kurla sees several accidents every week due to potholes. The maintenance of the stretch suffers while BMC and MMRDA continue to spar over whose jurisdiction it is. Meanwhile people keep dying. After Arun's death, it was left to locals to put gunny bags over the pothole as a temporary measures, none of the authorities were around. Arun Tiwari was a victim of systemic apathy. Potholes, a road without proper lighting, a BMC hospital that did not have an ambulance or oxygen cylinder on standby - at every step, Arun Tiwari was left to fend for himself with his dying breath. I live and work in Pune. I had an unfortunate incident where I was attacked by a few goons on my way home from the office. I was returning from the office in, Kharadi, Pune around 8:30 PM on Wednesday 11th December, 2024. I took a turn on Kharadi-Hadapsar bypass on Accolade society road. As the road was wet and it was not a rainy day I thought of it due to some water tankers which must have passed. But as I reached closer there was a pothole. The car was already slow as it was a narrow alley with bad roads. I further slowed down as evident from dashcam footage. I also tried to keep the wheels of the car to the left of the pothole but it was not possible due to the scooty standing ahead. And the pothole was a little deep and tires rolling over the deep pothole caused a little splash, which was not intentional. After that, these goons chased the car and stopped it a little ahead. You can hear from their language what kind of hooligans they were. I tried to stay calm and tried to explain that it was not intentional but they were not ready to listen to any reasoning. Probably their plan was to take my car to the side and extort money but I refused to take it to the side. Then one of the boys kicked at my car causing a dent and then ran away. I reported this to the police and registered a FIR and gave them the two wheeler number MH12 GP 6147 immediately, but I don't think the police will take any action. The two wheeler's insurance has expired since 2012. They refused to issue any challan also. This kind of incident is common in Pune, Kharadi area and has happened with my colleagues also. Pune, December 1: Two Kids Killed, Two Injured As Drunk Bus Driver Rams Into Pedestrians and Two-Wheeler At Jambhulkar Chowk In Hinjawadi Pune: In a tragic road accident at Jambhulkar Chowk on Monday evening, two school-going children lost their lives after being hit by a travel bus. The incident occurred around 6:00 pm when the bus, travelling from Shivaji Maharaj Chowk towards Indian Oil Chowk, allegedly rammed into a woman and her two children — one girl and one boy — who were accompanying her. Both children died on the spot due to the severe impact. Nitin Upadhye, an eye witness told Pune Pulse that the bus driver lost control over the bus and rammed into the pedestrians. It went ahead and collided onto the biker and further hit a Distribution Point box. The bus then went on to hit a two-wheeler rider, causing further injuries. The woman and a man sustained injuries in the collision and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Traffic police and local police teams reached the scene promptly and have begun further investigation into the incident.

A 28-year-old woman was gang-raped in a moving van in #Faridabad for over two hours and then thrown on the road early on Tuesday. The incident occurred on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, when the married woman was waiting for a vehicle to go home at night. A van stopped and two young men lured her into the vehicle, promising to drop her home. The vehicle instead moved towards #Gurgaon Road. The woman was allegedly in the van for around two-and-a-half hours, where the accused continued to rape her. Despite protests, the accused did not stop and instead threatened her. Around 3 am, the woman was thrown out of the moving van near #RajaChowk in #SGMNagar. The woman suffered severe facial injuries and was bleeding profusely. The woman repeatedly called her sister, who was informed of the incident when she called back. Her family members then rushed to the spot and admitted the woman to the hospital in a critical condition. Doctors applied 10 to 12 stitches to her face. Though her condition is stable, the woman is in a state of shock. Her statement is yet to be recorded. The victim's sister said in her complaint that the woman had called her a day before the incident around 8.30 pm, informing that she had an argument with her mother and was going to her friend's house. She further informed her sister that she would return home in three hours. The woman is married, has three children, and lives separately from her husband due to a domestic dispute. 18-year-old driver was traveling over 100 mph in crash that killed a 17-year-old high school girl Woodbridge, NJ - Newly released video and police radio transmissions show a Nissan Maxima traveling at a high rate of speed before a fiery crash that killed a 17-year-old passenger and seriously injured two other people during an encounter with Woodbridge police in February. The footage shows a Nissan Maxima with New York registration speeding south on Route 1, running a red light and turning onto Gill Lane before colliding with another vehicle and bursting into flames. "Crash, big crash, Route 1 South and Gill Lane," an officer can be heard saying over police radio traffic. "No cops involved. It's another vehicle. I'm checking on survivors. We need ALS out here immediately," an officer said in a subsequent transmission. According to authorities, the Nissan was driven by Mikael Salman, 18, of Iselin. The video release comes as Salman faces multiple criminal charges, including first-degree aggravated manslaughter while eluding law enforcement. He also has been charged with death by auto, four counts of aggravated assault, assault by auto, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and animal cruelty. He remained hospitalized in June. The Attorney General's Office said a preliminary investigation found the Nissan was traveling south on Route 1 at a high speed shortly before midnight Feb. 19. Police radio traffic indicates the vehicle was traveling about 105 mph near Woodbridge Center Drive. Woodbridge Police Officer Khari Manzini, who was in a marked patrol vehicle, left a stationary position and attempted to catch up to the Nissan, according to the Attorney General's Office. Authorities said the Nissan traveled from Route 1 South to Avenel Road, onto Remsen Avenue and then Route 35 before re-entering Route 1 South. About one minute after returning to Route 1 South, the Nissan collided with a second civilian vehicle at the intersection of Route 1 South and Gill Lane, according to investigators. After the crash, officers determined Salman and his passenger were trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters assisted with removing both occupants. Salman was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger, a 17-year-old girl, was pronounced dead at 12:25 a.m. Feb. 20, authorities said. While the Attorney General's Office has not publicly identified her, she was identified as Karla Gamero on a GoFundMe page created following the crash. Investigators also found that the passenger's dog died inside the Nissan. The two occupants of the second vehicle, a 2004 Buick with Pennsylvania registration, suffered serious injuries and were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment. Douglas County Deputies Assist in DUI Pursuit with Successful Grappler Deployment In the early hours of October 4, 2025, at approximately 4:22 A.M., Douglas County Deputies responded to assist the Aurora Police Department in pursuit of a suspected DUI driver traveling westbound on E-470, passing Gartrell Road. Douglas County deputies responded immediately and set up two sets of stop sticks along E-470 in an attempt to bring the pursuit to a safe conclusion. Despite these efforts, the suspect vehicle continued westbound. A Douglas County Deputy, operating a patrol vehicle equipped with the Grappler device, joined the pursuit along with another deputy. After positioning behind the suspect, both maneuvered to the front of the pursuit. New CCTV footage dated June 17, 2025, has surfaced, capturing a man at Kumasi's Anloga Junction pretending to make a phone call while leaning against a Toyota Rav4. The footage shows him discreetly breaking into a parked vehicle and stealing a bag from inside. After the theft, the suspect swiftly hopped onto a waiting motorbike and fled the scene. Interestingly, the Toyota Rav4 he was leaning on also sped off immediately after the motorbike departed, raising suspicions of a coordinated operation. An incident which fits the modus operandi of the busted syndicate.

Three Suspects Arrested After Carjacking in Oshawa Three suspects have been arrested after a carjacking in Oshawa. On Saturday, September, 13 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members from Central East Division responded to a carjacking in the area of Nonquon Road and Mary Street North. The victim parked his vehicle in a parking lot when he was approached by three masked suspects. The suspects began assaulting the victim before leaving the area in the victim’s vehicle. Officers located the stolen vehicle travelling northbound on Stevenson Road and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop for police and continued northbound on Stevenson Road. Officers followed the vehicle and it went westbound on Conlin Road. The driver lost control, crashing the vehicle into a field at Conlin Road and Anderson Street. The three suspects then fled on foot into the greenspace. With the assistance of Air1, all parties were located and taken into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault and was treated at a local area hospital for his injuries. During a search of one of the suspects, officers seized a large knife and an airsoft gun. A 30-year-old male of no fixed address is charged with several offences including: Robbery with violence; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5,000.00; Disguise with Intent; Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance; Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. A 19-year-old male of Scarborough is charged with several offences including: Robbery with Violence; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5,000.00; Disguise with Intent and Possess Weapons Dangerous to Public Peace x2. A 20- year old male of Scarborough is charged with several offences including: Robbery with Violence; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5,000.00; Disguise with Intent; Possess Weapons Dangerous to Public Peace and Possess Prohibited Weapon. They were held for bail hearings. This incident marks the third violent carjacking in Durham Region over a two-week period.
