So which one is best and which one sucked the most?

Those Fishers (Grey&Red) arent meant for drywall, but porous concrete etc.

Different plugs are for different applications but you compare them all for a drywall situation. FAIL.

Only thing worth a damn are drywall toggles.

Left out the Togglers. It’s all I use when mounting TVs 🤷🏻‍♂️

Classic toggle bolt style will always be the winner.. you never see them rated for exterior use though, always zinc-plated, which is unfortunate.

When I try to use most kinds they spin and dmg the wall before the anchor deploys. How do I prevent that?

Not a test - a display.

I've had the best luck with the ones that look like fat plastic screws. That's the only type I use now.

Some of those that bucked are meant to expand slightly when placed into a pilot hole in a solid, think surface like plaster, not behind a thin, 1/8" piece of plexiglass.

A complete set of cheap wall screw inserts, there are no standard toggle bolts, no zip-its, and no nylock togglers, some of the most common anchors there are. Of course, we started out with "plugs" instead of drywall anchors, so we knew it was a fail to begin with.

When does the test start?

Great for shitty hollow "walls". I like to use the grey red ones (Fischer) in a real wall.

Drywall? Some of those spin like tops and are useless

Ohhh…no wonder the mirrors on the walls don’t fall.
