Very nice! Well done. It makes me remember about a book in my university's library about using discrete parts to create sensors for robots. There is a circuit there that uses a windowed EPROM as a camera. Light is suppose to change EPROM's bits if you put lenses over the window.

I’ve heard of this and would love to try it some day. I love misusing hardware in a strange way.
