Getting stopped dead in your tracks in the exact same way every single time got really annoying come MK8, so I'm very glad for this. This feels like a proper evolution of what 64 and Double Dash did where you kept some momentum after getting hit.

Yeah honestly, I also noticed that getting hit by a blue shell kinda never had any impact compared to getting hit by literally anything else in MK8, where here it feels like the blue shell finally acts like a huge showstopper again

Not a change, but I've had a TON of folks asking if this is getting changed from June 10. This is a ball hit by Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers and it was ruled an error on Jake Mangum of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The only thing I can think of is that Mookie didn't appeal, because this is a base hit, it's always been a base hit, and it will continue to be a base hit. Except on this one play. There is no way a sliding attempt like this is an error. I know Mangum broke the wrong way, but that doesn't factor it ... it's the catch, the physical catch, and there is ZERO CHANCE this is ordinary effort. I know we talk changes here, but this non-change is the most confounding one for me since Aaron Judge's first career walk-off hit, which was the most obvious fielder's choice of all time, but because it was the last play of the season, it didn't get appealed or changed.

There was nobody better than Trevino when it was windy, he could hit a 4-iron from a 100 yards. A genius. This is the 14th at Maidstone. My first time playing the course and what a magnificent course it is. Is 14 a candidate for the best par 3’s in the world?

You CANNOT get picked. 2) If it’s not a ball or if it is not hit, good chance you will be thrown out. 3) Roll your head to pick up contact to avoid being deked by the middle infielders(Somewhere between 1st & 3rd step) 4) Careful not to come off the base on your slide. Even on ball 4 if you over slide you are out. 5) Give the hitter steal verses giving him hit & run.
