On Wednesday, our officers responded to a burglary in progress in Queens. The NYPD Aviation Unit helped patrol officers on the ground locate the suspect who was wanted for several additional burglaries and took him into custody. Team work at its finest.

People are scared and prices are too high. And in California in particular, the average age for a first-time homebuyer — it’s crazy, it’s insane — it’s 40 years old. We’re too great of a state, with too many resources, to accept that. We should be able to say you can take your first job, have your first child, and buy your first home in the same decade. A child fell overboard on a Disney Cruise on Sunday. As soon as she went over the father of the child jumped in to save her. The Disney Dream was returning from a cruise in the Bahamas when the incident took place. The child fell from the fourth deck with her father going in after her. They treaded water for about 20 minutes as crew members rushed to save the passengers. "We commend our crew members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes." Disney said in a statement to People Magazine. The father and daughter suffered no injuries.

PGPDNEWS’ Aviation Unit 🚁 was eventually able to get the location of the pursuit with the help of Prince George’s County dispatchers, but was severely delayed in responding. A felony stop was ultimately conducted on Lockwood Drive in White Oak, with a male being taken into custody by police.

A routine call quickly turned into a lifesaving rescue! On Friday, June 12, 2026, around 12:05 p.m., Fort Worth Police officers responded to a report of a missing child near Dream Park. As officers searched the area, one officer spotted something yellow sticking up from the weeds near the water. When they moved closer, they discovered the child partially submerged along the shoreline. As officers approached, the child appeared disoriented and began moving farther into the water, at times going under the surface. Without hesitation, one of our officers entered the water and safely brought the child to shore before the situation could become even more dangerous. The child was evaluated by Fort Worth Fire Department as a precaution and is safe. This is a reminder that sometimes the difference between tragedy and relief is measured in seconds. Just as the sun was setting last night Officers Castro and Ray were called to 30th and Valmont for a report of a vehicle that had crashed and was hanging precariously on a retaining wall. As they ran up to the car, they also learned that a 4-year-old child was in the back seat. Thankfully, with the assistance of Boulder Fire-Rescue , officers were able to get both the child and driver safely out of the car. The driver was charged with careless driving, reckless endangerment and child abuse due to the circumstances. Officers are investigating the possibility that the driver had a medical event. As in every criminal case, these charges are an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty. We’d like to note that Officer Ray’s comments about our firefighter friends are completely………true #boulder #bouldercolorado

NEW: Police have released more info about the "Harry Dresden" break-in in Fairfield, CA, say both the homeowner & Nichols sustained head injuries. Police are praising the "actions of the homeowner" who raced home to confront 30-year-old Jason Nichols with a shovel. Authorities say that the homeowner's wife and child were inside when Nichols broke in. When Nichols was unable to break in through the front door, he broke in through a sliding glass door. "The homeowner's husband, who was away at the time, observed the suspect through a home security camera and immediately returned to the residence," said police. "As the suspect entered the home, the homeowner returned, armed himself with a shovel, and confronted Nichols." "A physical altercation ensued, during which both the homeowner and Nichols sustained head injuries."
