A Curious Domi👀 Heres the long animation :) Original models: Bunny model by WARFAREMACHINE Textures by Domibun Environment models by DrDrigg Still learning how to animate more fluidly. Am getting there slowly but balancing my job and this is hard (sorry for janky) :P enjoy!

Here we go~ my first fully fledged nom animation~ This took 3 days to fully construct since I'm still learning~, and it was a Christmas gift for the lovely dynnie.bsky.social~ Model by @/soxf0x Hope you all enjoy as much as he did!~

Introducing Figure out which open model is best for your use case. Compare models across coding, agents, long context, vision, finance, and more. Then see how they compare on cost + quality, including what you could save by moving to open models.

This may look like a game of Counterstrike running slowly, but it actually extraordinary. The entire game is created, frame-by-frame, on my *home computer* by an AI diffusion model in response to my actions. There is no game engine, just a "world model" trained on Counterstrike

Evaluation is a critical bottleneck in building robot foundation models. Check out our latest work RoboLab, led by Jenai Xuning Yang, which addresses this exact challenge. Its a high-fidelity simulation environment for testing these models. A truly generalist policy should be able to complete these tasks zero-shot, and this benchmark highlights exactly how far we still have to go. More info 👇

Voice AI is getting the words right, but it still doesn't understand tone. We paused our PhDs at Stanford to build Oruk, backed by a16z speedrun. We train speech models to understand what you say AND how you say it. DM me for preview access to our most powerful model yet

This gooey mess is so much fun to animate. I wanted to show some of my process so here it is! Model by F://Willis for his upcoming game Demi and the Fractured Dream #b3d #blender #animation #indiedev #gamedev

'Jev' plays Pac-Man steered by Astra. 1. Astra strategizes 2. 'Jev' carries out the strategy in milliseconds It's early and hard to wrap my head around, but the potential is there to combine 'Jev' with larger reasoning models. For sure.

Robot Learning needs 4D world models! Robot Learning needs 4D world models! Robot Learning needs 4D world models! We introduce TesserAct, a 4D embodied world model that can simulate how agents interact with the 3D world over time! We achieve this by simply extending a pre-trained 2D video generation model to jointly predict RGB, depth, and surface normals. It enables: 1️⃣ Much better policy learning in the wild 2️⃣ Temporal + spatial coherence in 4D dynamic prediction 3️⃣ Novel view synthesis for embodied scenes Code: Paper Link: Project page:

AI is evolving, but it’s still controlled by the few. Our Core Contributor Ram explains why that needs to change and how OpenLedger, the AI blockchain, is redefining the space where models, intelligent agents, and apps can live, evolve, and thrive together. This is AI: open, fair, and owned by all.

We’re still alive and development is steadily proceeding. We can’t show a lot right now, but we do have some overhauled dinosaurs to share. These models, textures, and animations have been produced by our new animator who we hope to properly introduce in the future.

Small Language Models (SML) are the future of AI. "Small" (SML) instead of "Large" (LLM). These small models are highly specialized models with superhuman abilities on specific tasks. Here are two techniques to build these models: • Spectrum • Model Merging I give you a short introduction in the attached video, but here is a quick summary: Spectrum helps us identify the most relevant layers to solve one specific task. We can ignore everything else and focus on fine-tuning these layers. Using Spectrum, we can fine-tune models in a heartbeat. Model Merging combines multiple models into a unique, much better model than any of the individual input models. You can also combine models specialized in different tasks and get a model with multiple abilities. This is the state of the art of productizing models. It's what Arcee.ai's platform does behind the scenes. Arcee collaborated with me on this post and is sponsoring it. There are three main steps to produce a model for your particular use case: 1. You create a dataset by uploading your data. 2. You train a model. At this step, Arcee uses Spectrum and Model Merging to produce a highly specialized model for your task. 3. You can deploy that model to any environment you want. Three important notes: • Training process is 2x faster and 2x cheaper than regular fine-tuning. • Resultant models are smaller and have higher accuracy. • They create these specialized models from open-source models. Check this site so you can fully appreciate how this works: If you want to fine-tune an open-source model, consider Arcee's platform. This is the state of the art.

Here is DLSS5 working on an animation I made in Unreal. It uses the existing geometry, animation, textures and lighting to render. It doesn't make stuff up out of thin air. There is zero generative AI. This is the exact use of AI that people have wanted. As a tool where artists maintain full art direction. Neural rendering makes creating amazing art with real 3D models easier and more accessible. All 3D artists should be excited. Here is another explanation by Daniel Vávra ⚔ Is this a 3D model? I encourage you to create a 3D model or animation sometime and try it out for yourself, it can be fun creating something!

Curious whether video generation models (like #SORA) qualify as world models? We conduct a systematic study to answer this question by investigating whether a video gen model is able to learn physical laws. Three are three key messages to take home: 1⃣The model generalises perfectly for in-distribution data, but fails to do out-of-distribution generalization. For combinatorial scenarios, scaling law is observed. 2⃣The models fail to abstract general rules and instead tries to mimic the closest training example. 3⃣The model prioritizes different attributes when referencing training data: color > size > velocity > shape. This work is a joint effort with our outstanding intern Yang Yue. Paper: Webpage:

How Claude helped US strike Iran. Very Good Explanation by Palki Sharma - Claude AI models gather all intelligence data and model gave the Time & Location to attack on Iran. - It took 6-10 months to process such Data but Claude AI Models gave the precise output in few mins. - US Army CANNOT replace Claude Models for next 6 months. Still they have huge dependency.

Inferact CEO Simon Mo says open and closed models are converging. The moat is environment: "What really differentiates open-weight models from closed-weight models? In the end, there's not much differentiation. It's more about the distribution strategy and go-to-market strategy. Capability-wise, I don't really see a big gap, not even today." "One of the most important parts is just the data. It's about who gets what data, and then what are the environments you are building to let the model improve on itself." "For Moonshot, they have built some of the best environments for front-end coding... the ability for this model to code and then see what the rendered code is, and then continue looping in this iterative process." "Now, this is about their environment to improve the model. It's not about just source data. It's not about where they get the data from. Rather, it's who can build the best environment and who can make the most optimization and algorithmic choices to leverage all this learning from this environment." "The next year is all gonna be about that: how open-weight model labs are differentiating and really getting the model to meet the real world." Simon Mo
