It appears the MOU Alberta Premier Danielle Smith signed was PR stunt, which imposed a 75% methane reduction cap & solidified the carbon tax Alberta pays, without getting a new pipeline in return.

It's easy to see where this is heading — no pipeline through BC will get built, but the Federal government will be collecting more taxes from Alberta. What a scam!

This is the financial engineering Mark Carney is structuring Canada into. In British Columbia, the agreement with them, annouced the development of National Carbon Credit Framework. "There is no realistic solution to the climate transition that does not involve a globally coordinated system of carbon taxes. There's no realistic or fair solution that does not involve a globally coordinated system of carbon taxes. What we need is a system of carbon taxes coupled with subsidies for vulnerable households and a stream of funding for the developing world." The Alberta MOU, with its carbon taxes increaes, net zero targers, and carbon capture is what established Mark Carney the win to build this WEF playbook on.

Alberta First Nations' lady with fake eyelashes made from petroleum products are against resource development and think they stopped Alberta independence. "No to increasing production of tar sands by 100M barrels a day (what?). No to lifting the tanker ban on the West Coast. No to pathways carbon capture project. No to the MOU within Alberta. All of Alberta is treaty land...we are who standing here today have stopped Alberta from separating, and we will stop this MOU from being enacted." The only logical think she said is no to the carbon capture project. It just never ends...

No pipeline project will been agreed upon until at least September 2027 & that doesn't include the BC First Nations & the BC NDP agreeing. How can a pipeline get private investors when yesterday Mark Carney said oil and gas will be phased out in Canada? Carney also said any oil and gas not phased out will be forced to pay a substantially increased carbon offset fee. Danielle Smith has sold out Alberta.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith identifies 3 main points that Albertans are upset about and need to be reduced to address the Independence movement; > energy development > immigration > firearm ownership "Alberta sees the world a little bit differently, and I hope that the Prime Minister does that because that'll go a long way towards showing what cooperative federalism looks like." 🌹💰💰💰 : Mark Carney brags he managed to get a set in stone agreement with Alberta on carbon credits, that will be enforced because it's not an MoU. Instead of paying $20 per carbon credit, companies will now be forced to pay $110. On top of that taxpayers will be paying for a carbon capture scheme, which no one can explain how it will make the weather better. On top of that companies pay an industrial carbon tax. On top of that taxpayers will be paying a fuel surcharge tax. Danielle Smith delivered a carbon market for her voters. To my knowledge no one wanted her to do it. What did she get in return?

🌹👋🇨🇦⚖️ : Danielle Smith says one judge appointed by Justin Trudeau shouldn't be able to eliminate the rights of 700,000 Albertans who signed on to have a referendum on independence. If Smith fights as hard for the referendum as she has against carbon taxes and for building pipelines, the referendum vote will never happen. Smith does warn the court ruling could dramatically change how Alberta is governed.

The world wants low risk, low cost, low carbon energy sources. Our strategy with Alberta has been to go right to heart of the issue which is the pipeline but what else comes with the pipeline?
