Is Anti-wokeness now going way too far? Miller Lite is now under attack by many on the right for creating this ad, which pays homage to women. The ad is actually a joke about “Good $#!T.” So many people are now accusing this of being a “woke ad” because it gives credit to women for the hand they played in brewing beer. The narrative of the ad goes like this: “Here’s a little known fact. Women were among the very first to brew beer ever. From Mesopotamia, to the middle ages, to Colonia America, women were the ones doing the brewing. “Centuries later, how did the industry pay homage to the founding mothers of beer? They put us in bikinis. It’s time beer made it up to women, so today Miller Lite is on a mission to clean up not just their $#!T but the whole beer industry’s $#!T.” The ad goes on to joke about how they are buying back all of the photos and ads of women in bikinis, turning it into compost and using that compost to fertilize farmer’s hops that they grow.
