This guy was riding along the trail when he came upon a woman and her dog off to the side of the trail. When he saw them, he slowed down, and the dog bit him. The dog was on a very long leash, with the woman standing several feet away. He turned around to talk to the dog owner, and they argued. So who is at fault? Should the dog owner have had her dog on a shorter leash? She had to have heard him coming. I believe bikes are supposed to yield to pedestrians legally, but it almost seemed like she was just waiting for him.

"Officers later located the individual at Gate D1. The woman then became "hostile" and resisted officers who tried to detain her. She was charged with animal abandonment and resisting arrest. This trainer was training her dog to be a service dog when a little girl on the street insists on petting the dog, potentially undoing months of training. Even after being told nicely not to do it, she follows the dog and stuff pets it. I am willing to bet if she kept petting the dog and the dog eventually bit her, her parents would be the first to sue even though she provoked it.
