He asked a very valid question, "Dialogue with who?" Matiang'i is aware Ruto doesn't listen; Ruto is a man who believes he knows everything and that's why our country is in turmoil. Therefore what is needed is a new team to take over leadership constitutionally. Period.

Recently, Dr. Fred Matiang’i called for unity and dialogue. In this clip, however, he’s rubbishing the need for dialogue following Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s call for an intergenerational national conclave. Isn’t this double-speak from the former Interior CS, a presidential aspirant? Or is his skepticism rooted in the fact that a someone else is leading the initiative and therefore he won’t gain any political mileage if he agrees to it? Many people are very stupid in this country. Dialogue begins from your house, friends and others. Even campaigns are dialogues. You can't live in a society without dialogue coz people come from different backgrounds and surroundings. Those against dialogue are simply dictators.
