This chimes absolutely with my thinking and, I hope, my practice. I may call someone online boy, boi, sub, pup, dog, etc if they have that in their screen name, but only if they call me Sir first. They honour me by doing so, so I return the gesture. Otherwise, 1st name is fine.

Had to rewrite this Sir. Excellent points, as a 60yo sub/boy. For me to use Sir it has to be mutual and Also earned. By that I mean Sir shows boy respect and is willing to build off that. Now if it's just a play date that could change the dynamics thank you Sir

I love the methodology around a "leap of faith". Someone has to get the ball rolling, and even if slightly misdirected it can easily be redirected and start that interaction. Looking forward to a chance to give the podcast episode on this a listen as well!
