A discrepancy alone does not indicate unfair bias. Example: I bank issues loans with a consistent .5% default rate across all loans issued. You notice 75% of (pick a group identity) were turned down for a loan. Does this information alone indicate bias?

Of course it's biased and discriminatory. That doesn't mean that it's wrong or arbitrary. These words have become verboten because they are the focus of critical theory's false presumption of white supremacy, patriarchy, etc.

They always have to say “let me be clear” before they spew bullshit.

Whats the bad rate by group?

Friend applied in 1980 to the Seattle Fire Department. After written and physical testing, he ranked 25. They hired 30. He did not get hired. #295 and #350 did.

I don't remember having conversations NEARLY as deep as this while playing video games :) 5 stars

"Some system somewhere." How conveniently nebulous to not have to explain or elaborate.

just replying to the written portion. they could indicate a bias toward borrowers who are less likely to default? but if it has anything to do with race you'd have to compare race of (equal economic) standing. to isolate the race part

Specific examples aren’t necessary. What’s with your obsession with evidence? What don’t you understand about “some system, somewhere is perpetuating disparity”?
