Fear and anger can be clearly seen in a video that has surfaced from Uttam Nagar, Delhi, where a woman is speaking out about what she says is happening to Hindu families in the area. In the video she claims that Uttam Nagar is slowly being turned into something like “Pakistan”, where Hindus are being attacked and even small children are becoming targets. She says the situation has become so serious that violence and even killings are being talked about, yet no strong action is being taken. According to the woman, a small child was almost killed during the incident and if neighbors had not stepped in to help at the right time, the outcome could have been far worse. The woman also makes serious allegations against the police. She claims that when they called the police while hiding inside their house, no help arrived. She further says that the police take money and try to suppress such cases instead of taking action against the people responsible. She questions how something as small as water accidentally spilling could turn into such a violent attack. Her words in the video show the fear, anger and frustration that many Hindu families in that locality say they are facing today.

An 11-year-old child has gone missing in Faridabad. The father, in a state of panic and desperation, is seen trying to get the school gate opened. According to reports, the school had made the child stand outside and then shut the gate. From there, the child disappeared. Just imagine the trauma of a parent searching for his child, not knowing where he is or if he is safe. How can a school leave a minor unattended outside its premises? Where is the duty of care? Where is the basic humanity? Such negligence is unacceptable. Strict action must be taken against the school administration so that no other family has to suffer this nightmare.

It is alleged that individuals named Imran, Tinku, and others are involved in this incident. Despite the family filing a complaint, no concrete action has been taken. Today, I visited the Ekbalpore Police Station regarding this matter. A clear message to the administration if strict action is not taken within one hour, there will be a gherao of the DC PORT office. We stand firmly with the child and will ensure she gets justice.
