This guy was riding along the trail when he came upon a woman and her dog off to the side of the trail. When he saw them, he slowed down, and the dog bit him. The dog was on a very long leash, with the woman standing several feet away. He turned around to talk to the dog owner, and they argued. So who is at fault? Should the dog owner have had her dog on a shorter leash? She had to have heard him coming. I believe bikes are supposed to yield to pedestrians legally, but it almost seemed like she was just waiting for him.

My neighbor always walks the dog at all hours of the day, rain or shine. She has a huge dog she can’t control, it actually walks her most of the time. This guy here has no excuse letting his dog on a leash get away, that thing is tiny. Yet he thinks it’s the man’s fault that his dog got nudged. What would you do if your neighbors dog got loose and they blamed your dog reacting to it, he needs to get his dog under control and get a life. Anyways, the neighbor with the big dog was walking her dog and it got away from her and ran into the street. Another neighbor was coming home from work and didn’t have time to react to it, she ended up hitting the dog causing a good amount of damage to her car and scuffing up the dog pretty good. The lady walking her dog had a fit of course and blamed the neighbor for hitting her dog. The neighbor retorted that she wouldn’t have hit it if the lady had it under control and isn’t run into the street. The lady ended up calling the cops, the cops came and cleared the neighbor of wrong doing. There were plenty of witnesses that saw it and we all see the dog pulling her all the time anyways. After the accident we didn’t see the lady walking her dog much anymore, her oldest son would do it most of the time to his annoyance but it was a better thing, he could control it where as his mother could not. This one got me. This 12 year old girl was fostering a dog named Milton over the holidays. She was doing a good thing, opening her home, loving him, knowing he wasn’t supposed to be hers forever. A young woman was out jogging when she came across a beautiful white dog sitting alone by the roadside. She felt a little nervous at first, but seeing how friendly the dog was, she approached, spoke to it, and gently petted it. The next day, she couldn’t stop thinking about the dog, so she went back to check on it. The dog was still in the exact same spot, recognized her immediately, and happily let her pet it. To her surprise, the dog calmly allowed her to pick it up and place it in the car. She brought the dog home, a bit worried that it might belong to someone. A woman was shocked to discover a dog abandoned right outside her front gate. The poor dog was curled up inside a transport crate, trembling with fear and too frightened to come out. Heartbroken by what she saw, she couldn’t help but ask sadly and angrily, “How could anyone do this?” The dog pressed tightly into the corner of the crate, trembling constantly and refusing to move. The woman patiently used food to gently coax the dog out, never forcing or frightening him further. Eventually, she carefully placed the entire crate in her car and took him somewhere safe. She gently reassured him, “It’s okay, sweetheart. From now on, we’ll take care of you.” So grateful that this little one found someone compassionate who was willing to reach out and help when he needed it most. ❤️🐶

This trains her dog to protect her, she knows he can be vicious that’s why anytime she takes him out she puts a muzzle on him to help prevent any accidents. While at the park, some unleashed dogs approach her dog and run up on him. He reacts, but she’s able to control him. The other dog’s owner comes up. Of course he’s unhelpful and blames her dog for being aggressive. When I used to live at the house in Brecksville, it seemed like everybody had an aggressive dog, or maybe they just trained them to not like me I’m not sure. I used to go for walks at night while I was dealing with customers and such when I was at the insurance company. During my walks it wouldn’t be uncommon for me to encounter 3-4 dogs being walked by their owners and sometimes they aren’t on leashes. Even though they aren’t biting, when a big dog like that jumps on me with its paws, it’s gonna scratch the crap out of my arms and legs. I said something to the owner and he just laughed claiming it’s just a scratch. I let it go that time but then it happened again a few days later. I ended up filing a report and calling animal control. They ended up taking the dog because earlier in the day it had attacked a little kid on a bike. Whether or not it intended to harm her didn’t matter, the point is it knocked the little girl off of the bike and dragged it for a few seconds, causing some scrapes on the little girl. The parents were furious because anytime anyone says anything about his aggressive dog he usually laughs at them like he laughed at me. The owner was angry at everyone for repeatedly reporting his dog but honestly this needed to happen. When will aggressive dog owners finally wake up and realize the threat their aggressive dogs are to others including themselves? We’ve all seen the stories on the news.

This little girl was willing to give up her TV, her games, and everything she owns just to take a tiny grey kitten home. When her mom first told her they couldn’t keep him, she immediately started negotiating — offering to let her mom throw away all her stuff if it meant she could bring the kitten with her. It was honestly the cutest thing. In the end, her mom let her take the kitten home 😭 If all it takes for kids to stop watching TV and playing games is getting a kitten or puppy… then maybe that’s exactly what we should do. Would you let your child trade their screen time for a pet?

This woman said as soon as she walked in, there she was, a beautiful poodle being surrendered to the shelter. This is no place for any dog. She said the dog was confused and scared. She didn’t know what was going on. Can you imagine what was going through that beautiful dog’s mind watching her owner walk away from her? Why couldn’t they seek to re-home her instead of dropping her at a shelter? Did you know Poodles are considered one of the top breeds because they are so smart, have a great temperament and how quick they learn? Wouldn’t you be honored to own a dog like this? This beautiful?
