Hockey East with 6 teams out of 16 makes the whole selection thing a travesty. Who cares if ASU started slow. You want the best teams in March, not November.

Bogus. If ASU was in a bracket without DU or WMU, they would have been in the frozen four. Likewise CC would have had a better chance than 3 of the 5 Hockey East teams that didn’t make the semis.

Obviously North Dakota wasn't up to standards and Duluth is down from their years of recent dominance (and Omaha/CC/SCSU couldn't step up for an entire season) but Western Michigan chose a good time to be great and Denver can never be counted out.
