That was the freakiest, creepiest, yet strangely coolest things I’ve ever seen I am not sure how to process this

A dragonfly is first an egg and a nymph (larva), then undergoes many molts underwater as a voracious predator, eventually climbing out to shed its final skin in a dramatic final molt (ecdysis) to emerge as an adult, a process of incomplete metamorphosis. It can take 5 years underwater. Eggs hatch into aquatic nymphs that live underwater. These nymphs are fierce hunters, eating other aquatic insects, tadpoles, and even small fish. They grow by shedding their skin (exoskeleton) multiple times; some species molt up to 14 times. This nymph stage can last from a few months to several years, depending on the species.

As a resident of Louisiana, where mosquitoes are The State Bird, i appreciate Skeeter Hawks!

We will get new bodies too! For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 Corinthians 5

Wow, and a beauty emerges…
