This gentleman was using the restroom at the rest area and came out to find out his semi was struck by another truck driver. The other driver starts yelling at him about how he was parked despite being the one who hit the other semi truck. The gentleman wanted to call the police and the other truck driver refused, claiming that it was a waste of time. I’m not even sure if the truck driver understands what he even did, but to avoid further escalation, would you just call the cops at this point even though you may have no damages?

A container truck driver was injured when a hatch cover fell on the truck at the Colombo port this morning, an official at the Port told Daily Mirror a while ago. He said the accident occurred while carrying out operations in the 'Jayabahalu'Terminal early this morning at 1.20 a.m. The hatch cover of the ship was accidentally released from the Overhead Gantry Crane when it was lifting the ship, the official said. He said the container truck was badly damaged, and the driver was admitted to the hospital with injuries.

The bus clipped his mirror anyway. 🪞 On Sarjapur Road in Bengaluru, a driver stopped his car when a BMTC bus pulled into the lane ahead of him and the conductor signaled to the driver. Thinking it might be a bus stop with passengers about to disembark, he stayed still. Instead, as the bus pulled away moments later, it reportedly swung slightly and struck his stationary car's right mirror → visible flying off in his own footage. The bus continued on. He says the conductor and passengers noticed but the driver didn't stop. When he pulled to the side to collect the broken mirror, a traffic cop reportedly began questioning him for causing an obstruction — with no acknowledgment of what had actually happened moments earlier.
